So, I started playing Baldur's Gate for the first time and I'm really enjoying myself. So I thought I'd share some videos I'm making of it with you guys. Any tips for the future would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Glad you're enjoying the game.  I can see from a quick look at your videos that you've already discovered it's easy to die in this game!  As it's only the death of the main character that finishes the game you might want to keep them out of combat - the easiest way to do that is to use missile weapons.  In fact missile weapons for everyone is the best way to do most of the BG1 encounters.  It's not a good idea though to let enemies melee attack someone equipped with a missile weapon, so you need to be ready to have people run round.  If you don't want to do too much micro-management then use your best protected character (lowest AC and highest HPs) to attack in melee - meaning the enemies all focus on him - while everyone else uses missiles and spells.
