I think there's a possibility they might be one of the longer lived races. Don't they have the most advanced (technology wise) culture in Thedas?

So by that logic it's possible they might have better sanitation and medical knowledge than other cultures as well.

I'm not sure though, don't quote me on that.

I asked this a while ago and I think the consensus was, in terms of longevity,

Dwarves

Qunari

Humans, Elves

You know, assuming they were healthy and stuff.

Isn't it said that most of the dwarves are dying off because of taint and infertility? I think I read somewhere that dwarves actually have the shortest lifespan in Thedas.

I don't disagree, but I was talking about a perfectly healthy dwarf that isn't riding into battle and or getting assassinated.

Including disease and wartime really screws everything up.

I do believe it was announced a while back that all the races have generally the same lifespan.

Aside from the obvious, visual differences between races, they all seem to age at the same rate.  Qunari do not appear to be any different.

They age exactly like humans, elves, dwarves, nugs, darkspawn and grass.

I'm given to understand that they have a comparable life span to humans that is slightly longer on average due to their superior medical technologies and hygiene.

Also, elves in dragon age don't live longer than humans. Least not any more, if they ever did.

Ah thanks for the info I could have sworn I read some where that elves lived a bit longer then humans in DA. Guess I was wrong kind of disapointing though :P

The legend says they used to be immortal, but sometime after they first started to encounter humans they lost their immortality, and one of the dalish said that zathriens extended age was a sign he had regained some of the immortality of the old elves but then it turned out it was just because of his spell.

I've heard that the devs have confirmed that some dalish have been extending their lifespans by means other than blood magic, lending some credence to the idea of them not being around humans helps extend their age.

Damned if I can remember where I saw that, though, so take it with the appropriate grains of salt.
