You mean the exact way of men being portrayed in games? Unrealistically buffed up super models with tons of self confidence?
The least they can do is make the woman good looking. Enough with women wanting us to appreciate non-beauty more due to low self confidence. Beauty is beauty and We wants it.
Well, the argument here is that when games idealize men, they're providing a vehicle by which male players can project an idealized version of themselves into the game. Players want to play as badasses, not as 90 pound wimps. By contrast, it's hard to make the argument that the highly sexualized versions of women we see in most games are designed that way as vehicles for women to project idealized themselves into the game; while I haven't done any investigation of the matter, I'm not sure if it's a particularly common fantasy for women to think, "Wow, I always wanted to play as a skantily clad, unrealistically buxom girl with a gun/sword!"
In other words, idealized images of both men and women in games are created largely for the sake of men. This is presumably why you don't see a cleverly placed "Investigate" option right next to Jacob's derriere, or see armors like this in most fantasy games:
