Be careful what you wish for.....

But I don't recall anything about the CE going poorly? Either you or Shanni becomes Bann, and that's the last we hear of it. (Unless there is something in DA2).

There were flag issues for the CE boon in the epilogue slides, and it can also end badly for Shianni as Bann (she'll be murdered).

Oh noes!!!!

But she was a trouble maker so maybe elves are better off with her replacement. The whole Bann thing could continue past her death and would still be a marked improvement over no representation.

Well, it's similar in that the head of state can't tell a religious organization how to conduct their business.

That has nothing to do with separation of church and state, religious organizations are just that, organizations, like a company or a non-profit.

They have to follow government's regulations whether they like it or not.

When you save the Circle, don't First Enchanter Irving and Knight-Commander Gregoir say that the First Enchanter has authority over the mages, if your Warden explains that he/she thought the Templars controlled the Circle? Shouldn't that mean something when Alistair tries to give his boon?

Really? Suddenly all the remaining guilt I had for condemning Alistair to the neck barber is gone.

Lol. Henry VIII can make his own church just to divorce a wife, but King Alistair can't tell the Orlesian Chantry to ****** off?

Henry VIII would never have done this if the Pope had been able to crush protestantism in mainland europe.

Well his replacement does that same.

I never got the funeral because killing the archdemon and living to get all the glory just seemed to good to pass up. Also, having sex with Morrigan was too appealing to turn down. Well know I'm going to get some saves where I die! Especially as a mage to get the new sel-governed tower.

If there is a way to prevent that in DA:I I will move Heaven and Earth to do so.

Have to support my cousin after all.

This is why I always ask for the title and riches; all the good deed boons get undone.

Where/when did that get stated? DA2? I don't remember that in the epilogue for Origins or Awakenings.

Shani as bann

Resistance from humans saw a rise in violence in the city, however, which culminated in Shianni's murder by a human bigot several years later. The resulting riot in the Alienage forced a crack-down from the throne, a clear signal that the tension with the elves had not been resolved.

however we know that we shouldn't treat epilogues as truth in many cases so it may not be in case.
