Mike Laidlaw confirmed that we aren't going to the Free Marches at all. So no Kirkwall. No Starkhaven.
Thank the almighty,
The Free Marches and their city-states can go to hell.

Given how *very much* we saw of Kirkwall in DA2, and subsequent backlash about that fact, I'm honestly not surprised we won't return. I'm more disappointed about Starkhaven, given that there obviously was story there to be told in the now-cancelled DLCs.Well that just made me just..... depressed. sad news. I hope Mike was pulling our chain when he said it.
I would be interested in seeing how they would create it using the new engine. Given the lore and the concept art of the city, I certainly think it deserved better than what DA2's budget and timetable could allow.

If I see Kirkwall again I might just go Anders on that place.
I would rather wander through the Fade then revisit that place. ![]()
I'm not a kid. I bet I'm older than you
Since you never even heard the word I assume that you're a kid yourself because according to the Oxford American Dictionary @ http://www.oxforddic...nesing#jones__8 the terms originated in the 1960s.
I'm sure you are. I was being facetious.
I'd love to see Kirkwall and its environs again, updated in the new engine. Perhaps not in the main game, but it would be a great place to do research on the Veil and how to manipulate it over a large area.
The only way I'll tolerate the return of Kirkwall is if a veil tear opens up over it and blows the whole place to hell, taking that stupid statue with it.
would be nice to see the good old cave with the new Engine^^ And have Varric comment on it
I'm pretty sure anyone we care about who was in Kirkwall probably left by this point.
