In fairness, the ship is a bit damaged...
But why though? It makes no sense! Like the relevance of this picture!

I'm amazed somebody thought "Don't judge me!" was an interesting enough quote to put in their signature.

What was your point there?
Or it could have just stayed with the rest of the ships. And not crashed at all.
And then gone and rescued shep from the citadel
Stayed with the rest of the ships? The rest of the ships had already left.

Why do people think the Normandy makes a jump through the Sol Relay after the Crucible fires? Even FTL would take too much time to both reach the Relay and plot a course for the relay to send a ship. There just wouldn't be enough time. More likely that Joker went right past the relay (or in a completely different direction) heading for one of our neighboring star systems trying to out run the wave.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't think Joker would have had the time to use the relay for a jump. Has Bioware released a statement I haven't seen saying they used the relay??
Actually, the time it takes for Normandy to travel from Jupiter to the Charon Relay and enter transit is several seconds less than the time between Normandy FTLing away from Earth and the Crucible beaming the relay. Jupiter may be a little closer to the relay than Earth was, but not enough to matter.
The Normandy being damaged made no sense; neither does it crash landing.
Regarding being the last ship, themikefest has shown it isn't.
So the picture was just a deliberate non-sequitur?
Maybe the other ships were behind Normandy in transit, then, and were either blown up or crashed too. Or the ships themikefest spotted were damaged and couldn't FTL.
"I think his name was Burt?"
I thought it was mildly clever.

If you're talking about when the crucible fired, the Normandy was not the last one to leave.
It would be easy for a single ship to get lost up there, wouldn't it?
"I need to know somebody's getting out of this alive."

In the destruction ending perhaps while going at the high speeds, Joker freaks out at what happened to EDI and accidentally crashes the ship?

The warning would at least give them a chance no matter how small.
Damn, I remember when we had a city-wide Civil Defense Drill that lasted 2 hours. So remember kids. Duck and cover! Where I live, it's light up a bong and watch, because there is no hope.
