Not particularly myself. But what else do you call someone who keeps the Collector base, activates Legion, and rewrites the heretics because she can't bear losing all that knowledge?
Did you let Grunt out of the tank too?

Kinda sounds like this path will lead you to a lot of paragons, but also, on very harsh renegades.
Yeah. Playing a concept is a lot more fun than strict P/R. What's really going to tie her in knots is the genophage, especially since I haven't decided what to do about Wrex.Kinda sounds like this path will lead you to a lot of paragons, but also, on very harsh renegades.

Well, we do have a lot of Genophage threads. You can try reading on them to get some insights on what you should choose...
I actually managed to resolve in favor of a cure using her other traits. So now it's just romance and ending. Since I have enough self-preservation not to ask about the ending, that leaves only deciding between Liara and Thane.Well, we do have a lot of Genophage threads. Oh, let me get it straight...so you romanced Liara in Mass Effect, but then you romanced Thane in Mass Effect 2 as well.
Have you done a Thane romance before? If so, then what I say here doesn't matter, since you already are familiar with it. If not, then I would make the following comment: while Thane's cabin scene in ME2 is good, Shepard's relation to Thane in ME3 is really poorly done, IMO. I just hate the way she jumps on him in the Hospital. The Citadel DLC barely alters anything from a non-romanced Thane. And his death scene in the Hospital doesn't vary much from the non-romance version either.
The major downer with Liara, IMO, is the awkward lock-in scene that takes no account of the previous romance Liara and Shepard have shared. Other than that, however, the Liara romance transitions fairly smoothly across the three games, although the initial meeting on Illium seems way too understated for two people who used to be lovers.
The lock-in would probably be less awkward if there were different lines depending on whether or not you continued the romance throughout the entire series. I imagine it's kind of doomed to be a bit clumsy, because Shepard's options can remain open for quite some time, especially if Tali is an LI.
"just...friends."
"Are...are you f*cking kidding me right now?"
Someone who believes knowledge is worthwhile, as opposed to runnin' scurred from "what man was not meant to know" *dramatic 40s radio drama music"?
...My favorite Shepard keeps the extra geth cause knowledge. She did blow up the collector base, but that was more a sole survivor issue. She deeply regretted the loss of data.
Shepard won't say it without prompting (pretty sure it's a top option in the LotSB conversation in the cabin), but Liara will default mention it at the final push - instead of 'I just know I'll have a clever line five minutes from now,' it's something like 'I'll disappoint all those blue children by not having some clever line' or something like that. Probably because the 'blue babies' thing went memetic, and, like anything that did in the series, it was decided to treat that as a canon event (same with calibrations, which, if you know Garrus won't say anything else, you don't hear from him spending all his time doing them, or the fish, so if you always fed the fish immediately after a mission in 2, you never DID kill any marine life, and of course, you can stay away from all dance floors and the characters will mock the Shepard shuffle).
But you can always pass that statement off as her making a poorly timed joke to relieve the tension. People do that, and I think that can include socially awkward Liara with her bondmate.
If they thought eyebrows were necessarily to make a female LI appealing, why not just give the entire species actual eyebrows and be done with it?
Yes, but then I always do. Open quests bug me.
This is why ME2 is such a drag to certain people... like me.

Me too. To say nothing of the planet scannnig, I gibbed the resources this time but still feel a compulsion to fire at least one probe per planet.
OP, I always took that line to be more teasing/joking than to be literal. It was Shep's way of saying s/he was in it with Liara until the end, what ever happens. And then when Liara references that line at the end of ME3, it is again a bit of joke but more of her hope that there is going to be a future with Shep after the Reapers. I never got the feeling that in either case anyone was seriously suggesting children.
If I were in your position, I would continue with the Liara romance and think of the lines as metaphors for the future and not literal desires.

While I agree that Shepard is deflecting with humor in that scene and whether or not he (or she) has a serious desire for children is up for interpretation, the best route to go if your Shepard doesn't necessarily desire children, is to go with the other dialogue option where Shepard doesn't mention them.
The other dialogue option is probably rarely chosen, but the resulting dialogue exchange between Shepard & Liara is better and more dramatic IMO. Having said that, I know I'm a minority in that opinion.

I have seen it(not chosen it, mind you) and I actually agree with you.
It's just that the "little blue babies" line always gives me that warms feeling and I just can't help myself to choose anything else.
I'm very familiar with Thane's and it's probably my favorite. It was Liara's that I didn't remember very well. It's actually not working for me on its own merits, and I'll be ending it as soon as possible. Which I don't think I can do in 1.Have you done a Thane romance before? You get to imply that your race of space!strippers is completely hairless whilst saving your expensive developer time to make things that really matter like anatomically correct banshee models.
