Gay & Lesbian DLC

Do I care if the gay romance option is included? No; if it is included then great for you guys that want it but if it isn't then that's ok too. However I would not like for a DLC to be spent focusing primarily on a new gay romance option any more than I would want a DLC to focus primarily on a new straight romance option.
If a new companion/npc was introduced in a DLC and was bi and that was just part of the character's development (Not the focus of the DLC or the missions it brings) then great because everyone can get whatever they want. But I'm not really interested in a DLC focusing on romance of any specific kind.

If you did not know anything about ME and stumbled on these forums you would be forgiven for thinking that 'romance' is the core gameplay. Truthfully, it concerns me that there is a disproportionate group of people on these forums that incessantly talk about 'romance' this and 'romance' that, so that others who enjoy Mass Effect for other reasons are drowned out and are made to feel alienated.
I have an irrational fear that Bioware will pander to this noisy minority and essentially gut the game of any other feature aside from 'romance'... but I know that wont happen; just like I was sure they wouldn't bend the IP and make Tali romancable... oh wait!
Yeah yeah, I know, "don't let the door hit your arse on the way out" - that's fine. I get it.

With DLC everyone is happy. People who hate it don't have to buy it (though even if same sex romance was in ME2, it's not like it's shoved down their throats... I don't understand their vehement stance against it or why they even post in threads like this since it doesn't effect them).
Though I suppose, assuming something horrible doesn't happen to Liara (I wouldn't put it past bioware at this point...), ME3 will definitely have F/F. Yay.
Anyway, who doesn't like girl on girl ffs.

Then don't buy it and stay the F*** away from here.

oooh, someone's on the ragg.
I personally could care less, but I don't see the problem with anything. If they have it or if they don't this game is gonna be the beez-neez

This game is about relationships. There's like twenty million options for straight Shepards.
jib, I'm just curious.
What is your hunch as to the question I begged?
Why do you think that JE and DA:O had [seemingly well done?] homosexual relations, while ME (series) is sorely lacking?

Not a big shooter fan, so all those guns...meh
But interraction with people and romances - that's what make ME Universe so alive and real.
I adore gays and lesbians! C'mon BioWare don't be an ass, give us more options!

You know what the Mass Effect Universe is missing?
A Stereotypical Big Flaming way over the to gay man in drag. I nominate Wrex to have a makeover. :innocent:

Why do I think so? Well, it's not because of the writers being homosexual, that's for sure.
I wonder how you can have an opinion on the DA:O same sex romances when you haven't even played them?
So, why do I think ME doesn't have them? I honestly don't have a good reason why ME lacks them, because there isn't one. Because they are trying to appeal to the hyper-masculine 'shooter' crowd maybe?

indeed. i think these are the sorts of things that most players will want in DLC. and while you're scripting the new characters' stories why not throw a bone to a vocal division of your fanbase?

The question mark [seemingly well made?] was an indirect question to you as to whether you thought they were good or believable. (did you think so? Or no?)
And "to appeal to the general console shooter populace [aka the f*a*g throwers]" is definitely a great answer, which I also agree with.
Thanks

I wonder if they will keep insulting everyones intelligence with the same ludicrous "there was no f/f in ME1, cuz Liara in monogendered" horses#!t?
They're not trying to insult you, they are trying to dodge the question when they say that.
Don't be surprised if somebody does that when you ask them a tough, possibly uncomfortable question.
