Yeah, how sweet would it be to see a statue of Tali and Legion on Rannoch or Wrex on Tuchanka?

I agree, I think having a bisexual female Turian squadmate would appeal to a wider variety of gamers.
Ah, new NPC-Squadmates... that's certainly something i'm looking forward to in ME4.
For me, what i would like to see, would be a morinth-type Asari (i actually liked her dark famme fatale style and was a bit disappointed, that her only cameo on ME3 was as a Banshee).
A female Drell would also be interesting. The only thing i like about vorcha is to shoot at them, so better a batarian instead. At some point the avian species "Raloi" was mentioned and it would be interesting to see, what they're like.
And at last: i would like to have my own Varren.
I think a batarian would be nice. Perhaps a new race that is new to the galaxy, like the humans were once.
I would like Mordin's reincarnation. Except this time around he would be a very intelligent krogon that liked to play up the dumb brute image so that others would underestimate him in much the same way people would underestimate his physical abilities before hand. Naturally they couldn't say that he was Mordin's reincarnation but he could have the speech patterns and thought patterns as well.
That and I'd like to have one scholarly male that can be romanced and isn't dieing of some illness or horribly unpleasant to look at. I'm not sure what I'd do if the scholar was a baterian for example. When I look at them I wonder if bioware made them so darn ugly so it'd be easy to kill them.
On a side note. It'd be nice if at least once when we see a baterian the main character could comment that anything that ugly clearly wants to die.
it's only natural to be curious about races or "stereotypes" we haven't fully explored yet.
Samara was sort of a commando, but we got far too much fluff n duff from Liara. we really need to break away from that stuff. Aria was quite the ray of sunshine, I'd welcome her back in an instant.
beastly squaddies are always a welcome choice because they're cool. maybe a domesticated Reaper Brute lol.
Batarians would definitely be a popular choice. Bray would be a great squaddie. but according to Hackett, the batarians are history.
Yes to Batarian and female Turian.
And a Volus please!
Human squad members are an absolute must for a game like this. Without them, a good portion of the fan base will be alienated
I can't be the only one who spilled his drink when reading this.
And a Volus please!
Why? They can't do anything.

Exactly my thought. They don't even have Military, so why adding a non-combat-NPC as a squadmate?
I don't see the point.

It's kinda like wanting to have a Hanar as squadmate. They can only do stuff in the water. They're useless outside of it.
Or an Elcor, who's only useful on high gravity worlds. On 'normal' gravity worlds they simply move too slow, and are incapable of moving any faster.

Remember what Zaeed said, never underestimate those jellyfishes, those tentacles are made to choke you to death.

Them volus in MP can be pretty fierce. Especially the volus vanguard haha. Funny that volus can dodge, but turians can't (i know it's for balancing issues but srsly??)
Been thinking about the inevitable turian squadmate we'll get and how they'll have to differentiate him/her from Garrus. Since Garrus's defining character is that of a rebel/"bad turian"/"turian badboy", maybe the new guy will be someone more way more straight-laced, more conservative. Preferably not C-Sec, but something else related to civic duty.
If not something like that, would be cool to have someone come from somewhere totally bad*ss like Blackwatch Ops or Armiger Legion. ![]()

I hope she's our ship's doctor, from the civilian sector, reckless and undisciplined, hates everyone and complains all the time, and is always looking for a better job somewhere else.
A Volus Engineer with Shield Boost and Recon Mine would totally work. Between missions he would trade/buy stuff for us, always trying o rip off the business partners.
A yahg motor mechanic who uses an oversized spanner and jury-rigged plasma torch (shotgun type weapon) as his main melee/range weapons, respectively. For abilites, he can jury-rig dislodged car doors as Guardian-esque shields, lob canisters of explosive or noxious gas (which the PC can then fire at to detonate/release) and throw tire irons.
I like to have a Hanar, Volus, Elcor, Rachni(if in the game) Batarian and have a dlc where we find a planet that has some Inusannon that survived their war with the reapers and one becomes a squadmate.
A volus?
Remember Legolas in the second lord of the rings?
"I can`t see from here"!-gimli
"Would you like me to get you a box?"-legolas
and an elcor wouldn`t work too well
Did anyone say Vorcha yet?
Cause I can think of like a thousand funny things a Vorcha could say in a fight. Bonus points for Vorcha as romance option ![]()
Vorcha is much more likely than Elcor, Hanar or Rachni.
If we are getting squadmates from the familiar factions, I'm with those who'd love to see a Batarian character. It would be fun to see another side of them beyond human-hating slavers and pirates. A Batarian squaddie who is the polar opposite of the stereotype...say Lawful or Chaotic good? Yes, please!
That being said there is also the possibility that Mass Effect 4 will be set in either unexplored regions of the Milky Way, or in a new galaxy all together, in which case we might be meeting entirely new alien factions.
