I guess that depends on how highly butt-lazors, dead crab lazors, and shoot-through-cover lazors rate on your BS meter. But one way or another I don't know that anything can truly compete with that Geth bullshit.

Collectors are the easiest faction in my opinion. They don't have Banshees, Primes and Phantoms, Headshots are really easy and the Praetorians attacks are easy to evade.

I guess that depends on how highly butt-lazors, dead crab lazors, and shoot-through-cover lazors rate on your BS meter. But one way or another I don't know that anything can truly compete with that Geth bullshit.

Lazors and seeker plagues' health and barriers are probably the only BS about collectors IMO. Lazors can be avoided if taking hard cover (makes you realize the importance of hard cover) - sometimes you take damage still but that BS is less than atlas' 360 degree seeking missiles, swarmers' DoT, cerberus smoke, geth stunlock nonsense, banshees that teleport through walls to sync kill you etc.

 

Best faction. Perfect balance.

Also, so much this. The truly well-balanced faction IMO (in any difficulty).

I like the Collectors.

I'll really like the new Collector type faction at night in Frostbite 3 with a proper lighting engine not weighed down by 10 year old hardware. It will be beautiful.

Okay, the swarms are a pain, but they can be handled. What I can say is that if you feel that Collectors are a pain in Bronze, Silver and Gold, you should try them on Platinum, because that's when they make up for all the suffering they caused you.

Yeah I would agree with most on here,  there probably my favourite faction but the only thing that annoys me are the scions with their stupid grenades that hit you from anywhere.

Sure. And they definitely aren't as bad as geth stagger-gangbang parties, although getting lazored to death by a crab you just killed has to be one of the single most annoying things that can happen on this game. Fortunately its relatively rare (IME at least).

Agreed. Greatly designed faction, overall. Now if they could just nerf the **** out of seeker plagues they'd be ever more awesome...

I don't even have a problem with lazors. They look funny and right to me, even when they OMGWTFkill me XD

Edit: my favorite faction remains Cerberus though... Because melons.

I like Collectors (unless I'm in a bad PUG), but this is totally correct.  Praetorian lazors are the most BS thing in this entire game, if you take Geth out of the equation.  Yes, hard cover is "supposed" to work for avoiding them, but I'd say it works about 60-70% of the time at best (and only if it's tall cover).  Possessed Scion grenades and Seeker Plagues can be pretty BS at times too.  I'd actually put them at #2 on the BS scale, far, far behind Geth, but significantly ahead of Reapers and Cerberus.

Cerberus is waaaaaay more annoying. Collectors can be hard, but they're always fun to play against.

Cerberus have Phantom bubble BS and sniping palm blaster of death, turrets, Dragoons immune to stagger while charging, Dragoon ninja Hornets while charging, more turrets, Atlas missiles and cannon, and even more turrets.

Geths are a ****** joke with the right kits, but Cerberus is and will always be a pain in my arse.

Sounds to me like you play off host a lot, and with laggy hosts. I know what you're referring to, and it pretty much doesn't happen without lag in my experience.

Ever tried a vanguard? They laugh quite hard at Cerberus.
