With Bioware doing this, I figured let's have a thread dedicated to the announcements and the discussions of them.

 

Also, here is all the reveals so far in alphabetical order. Spoilered so this post isn't huge.

First up, Sera.

Ugh,I love her armor and her facial expression! I also love the elves. And her bow. And really like her quote.

I hope she is romanceable for my Male Inquisitor...

When I originally saw her model, I thought she wad much more cutesy, but with it zoomed in here I don't know how I made the mistake. I very much like the real design better than my imagined one.

I like everything about her so far. Except, maybe, her hair. I think it may just be the bangs making me not like it, very bowl-cut-ish

I think she looks great, myself. I suppose that at the moment visuals are all we have to go on besides that one quote, but I'm far more interested in getting to know her as a character than critiquing her looks. *drums fingers in anticipation*

Definitely prefer how the elves look now. She looks a lot better than I was expecting and going by the quote she sounds like she will be like I imagined. I always thought my canon romance would be her when I saw the companions and I think this has pretty much confirmed it. Assuming of course she is an option. Going to be a lonely inquisitor otherwise.

I like Sera's armor. It's good to see that Bioware is giving more flavor to regular clothing.

She doesn't look Elf-y enough...and that hair style 

the nose is a bit off as well, a bit too sunken in... but that may be a result of a the angle.

I think she looks awesome.  She's interesting looking.  Her face is not classically pretty and her haircut is not traditional or feminine and I think that that's awesome.  I love variety and she looks different than the other female companions that we've had.  I can't wait to see the rest of the heroes up close too!

Well I have to say this is my favourite version of the elves so far from the series, and Sera is looking great, I also am loving the armour style.

 

To be honest I haven't really had any interest in Sera due to the lack of info and also the very few images that we have of her, but this has piqued my interest, looking forward to finding out more about her.

I'm not really feeling her face or haircut, but that quote makes her sound like the type of character I enjoy. I'm getting a Jack mixed with Kasumi vibe from her which is awesometacular as JeremyJahns would say.

I'll have to see how she is in game , personality wise...but so far she's my favorite female companion.

If she's as cool as she looks , she's going to be part of my Team Awesome .
