Love, love, love sera's look! And freckles! She has freckles! ![]()
I had my doubts about her, but I'm glad see I was wrong.
She seems like Jack from ME2 based on that quote, and Jack was my favorite ME2 character so I'm very excited for her.
She's also gorgeous.
I've read this several times, and leaving aside my own extremely restrictive aesthetic preferences, I think she looks attractive enough even if I wouldn't say she is "my type". Yet you still hear some saying she is not "conventionally attractive". I have no idea what that expression means, and wish it would die out (along with other similar ones such as "strong female character"), but I know it's just wishful thinking on my part.
The hair is...tragic. Apart from that I think overall she looks great. But...who decided on that hair style? XD Dear God it looks like monk hair. GIVE THE POOR GIRL ANOTHER HAIR CUT OR MAKE HER BALD LIKE THE REST OF THE COMPANIONS.

LOL
I'm really glad they did the "Bad decision hair" thing myself.
I have a very wild hunch that Sera is actually Briala in disguise.

Briala is dark complected and a brunette.

Briala apparently has a darker skin tone than Sera

Hmmm. I have always thought about it as "fits the old mostly white standart of beauty": thin nose (she doesn't have it), rather long-ish face (her's is round), average sized lips (her month is rather big) etc. Personal ideas of beautiful vary, off cause.
Not gonna scrounge to see if anyone has thought of this yet, but I'm gonna call it that Sera is a member of the elusive "Friends of Red Jenny".
Interesting theory! I've always wanted to know more about them.
Sera looks quite ugly, both in the physical sense and in the personality sense.
It seems to be a prevailing theme for the companions in Dragon Age Inquisition, so far.

Perhaps, it's hard to tell though since we don't have a single picture or concept art of Briala. I think too the only reason Briala has a darker skin tone is because she's always out in the sun.
My theory on the hair is that the reason her hair is so bad is because it's fake.
Briala also has freckles.
I am desperately hoping for official names for the Bearded Warden, DHMG, and Scribe Girl. I am ready to stop using nicknames. Fo realz.
Not personally a fan of her look. Though you don't judge a book by its cover. Hopefully she'll end up being a great character.
She's not Briala.
That makes about as much sense as the people who think the Inquisitor is the old god baby.
Two characters who look alike do not have to be the same person. ![]()

Other than being elves they also don't look alike. Or at least they don't if Briala's book description carries over into the game. Briala is tan and has brown hair while Sera is blonde and light skinned.

Feel free to not think it's her. But lumping the theory in with the inquisitor = OGB theory is just plain asinine and you know it. The inquisitor can be a qunari, elf, and dwarf; all of which Morrigan is incapable of having. Sera and Briala are both female elves so the comparison doesn't hold any water at all so spare me the condescending remarks.

As I posted before if you even bothered to read it; Briala is only tan because she spent a lot of time in the sun. And the reason I think her hair is so bad is because I think it's a wig.

I feel fine about being condescending when the theory is ridiculous.

Or maybe Briala is just naturally tan and has what we might call a Mediterrenean complection. In any case, there is more reason to suspect that Sera is not Briala than the reverse.
Also, you don't have to take someone disagreeing with you as a personal affront. Perhaps you should follow your own advice and avoid being condescending in your replies.

I wasn't taking your response as a personal affront, only pinecones in which he even admits he was being condescending. Relax.
