very nice.

Just based on that one quote, I think I now know who I am going to romance. I couldn't have said it better myself.
Sera looks so much more interesting now! I always thought she was kind of blah in the group shot.
Tho I hate the way her hair looks, I hope hair looks better by the final game...
I am fairly certain that the inquisition can afford a barber, no need for that blunt knife anymore Sera.
Edit - also not that it really matters but she is right handed

I like her design but all her features seem rather...short? She has a very round face and a very round-ish nose and her hair in general is kind of a bowl cut. IDK, maybe it's the odd angle but i kind of wish they'd given her something to balance her out. Longer hair or a more angular nose or something.
I have a rather bi polar opinion on her hair.
I either see it and love it or see it and go whaaa.
But, no other complaints, and that quote sounds right up my alley. ![]()
The art team have outdone themselves. The elves no longer look like aliens and the armour is classy. Not so sure about the bow though, since we don't have a very good view. Visually, she has strong points and weak points (the haircut...) and it all comes together to make her look... human. Like, not the race human. She's so much more REAL than other characters we see in video games. It's always grizzled hunks of MANLY flesh with shoulder pads the size of small continents, with their token love interest who resembles two beach balls stapled to a snooker cue. Sera is just so refreshingly realistic, from an aesthetic perspective.
I love her and all but now I have a problem.
How do I choose between her and Varric as my primary archer?
You can make her be a dagger user.
You can make her be a dagger user.
One would hope, but that wasn't the case in Dragon Age 2, I can't really see it being the case now. And even assuming that you could give her daggers, she will probably have an archery centric specialization.
Bioware said they can swap weapon sets. Varric can even use daggers instead of Bianca.
So did Leliana in Origins, yet I was able to make her a great DW.

She is adorable, but agree her hair needs help.
My problem is that I like to be an archer and also would like to have Varric and Sera in my party...
I think, the rumor is I have heard anyways, that you can switch out your weapons how you see fit for your characters so you can make either Varric or her as an archer, or a melee character, and same with your character if you so chose.
Me personally I wouldn't mind it in the least of having a long distance party. I have done that in DA 2 having basically four characters who were 'distance' characters (Bethany, Anders, Varric, and my Rogue Hawke), and they oblittered anything coming up to them. Granted I was playing on a pretty easy difficulty, but still. ![]()

I don't really like her face. I really wish the went with the concept art with long blonde hair and a pretty face. I guess it will have to grow on me.

Interesting that they're using the word 'hero.'

They're using the ancient Greek definition.
