What the hell is that glowing thing on the pommel of his sword?

 

It looks like whatever this thing is on his other sword

I like the fact that he's focused on a Warden's duty. I like the name, regardless of what really is (surname, nickname, etc).

Really love the armor and those toe spikes reall do look painful! To top it off there're so much crazy in those eyes that i can't help but really want to know more about him. Crazy and i like it!

Possibly. He's an older Warden, and depending on his age and when he joined he might be close to the Joining.
I'm still happy to have an experienced Warden companion.

Love that we are one step closer to naming all of the 12 main characters. That's 9 down and 3 to go (Scribe Girl, DHMG, and Cole?).

It's a British surname, so it could be either.

I think Cole is Cole, and Dorian is Dorian... we had their names a long time ago, and it's really just waiting for confirmation unless they've changed in the meantime. Now that Blackwall has been revealed, it's really only one of those 12 for whom we don't have any name at all. 

 

(I mean, don't count your magisters until they've hatched, I know, but I think we can assume that the young blond guy with daggers is going to be the young blond guy with daggers called Cole mentioned in the survey/Asunder.)

Yeah, I'm erring on the side of caution.  If I had to guess, I'd agree that we probably know the names of all 9 companions and two out of the three advisors now.  Scribe Girl is the only complete unknown at this point.  We have nothing to go on for her yet.

...I don't know why but the first few seconds I looked at this my brain turned his helmet into a hairnet and I wondered what on earth could that offer in the way of protection.

 

But damn he looks great.

He looks similar to Bearded Trevor, but seems like much different personalities.

I really like his armor. It looks worn down and kinda savage in a way. No prim-and-proper Knight in Shining Armor would have spikes on their boots and gloves, presumably in case you lose your armor. His quote may be about the Greater Good and sacrifice and all that jazz, but I seriously doubt he's Wynne come again.

 

The name is pretty cool too. My favorite character reveal at this point.

I admit I was expecting a mage to go up today considering we had a rogue and a warrior. I'm getting so hyped for e3

I just realized, you can see the "armor tarnishing" effect they talked about a long time ago on Blackwall.

Also, I really hope I can customize armor so I never have to use that geometric pattern on his under-armor. It hurts my eyes and my sensibilities.
