Sex doesn't matter, skin color doesn't matter, orientation doesn't matter and as such whatever count of whatever doesn't matter. It's a group of people. Nuff said.

So, Morrigan pretty much? I wonder what will be their interactions if Morrigan and Vivienne ever meet.

Not seen, Vivienne literally shoving Solas out of the spotlight because he is not meeting the expected dresscode.
"You intend to wear that? In front of the fans?"
"Well I don't really have any other outfits to choose from-"

Counting genitals and skin tone is not progression or enlightened. All you accomplish with such behavior is to expose how you might be, unintentionally, chained to archaic thinking and labels.

I'm glad that your experiences in life have allowed you to have this outlook. I'm envious because it hasn't been my experience.

Gwendoline Christie (Brienne from Game of Thrones) is supposedly recording lines at the moment for a female qunari NPC written by Patrick Weekes.
(some or all of that information might be wrong, though
)
This intrigues me

Let's not be silly, I wasn't saying sh!t doesn't exist and We don't need to strive for better. What I was saying is thinking in quotas is perpetuating those chains in your own mind. The moment We drop the need to count labels is the moment We just see people are people.
That's fine for yourself - it definitely isn't the way the world works now. It's great that you think like that, but hundreds of millions if not billions of people don't.
There are structural impediments to progress based on gender and race, and they *will not* go away until the status quo is forced to change.

Fourth, Vivienne.
Looks nice, not sure if I will like her in the game but we will see.

You're making my point.
You cannot seriously expect people to deal with discrimination by pretending it doesn't exist.

Vivienne will probably be the companion whose cynical view I can understand but I will disagree with. Hopefully she can agree to disagree as well.

Of course they matter. You have to treat different groups of people differently to some extent, which means you have to discriminate and take notice of those things.
I would not approach a lesbian woman the way I would a bisexual man, because while the latter may not mind a slightly suggestive or flirty conversation the former would likely find it off-putting or offensive. Were I at a barbecue I would refrain from offering pork to a woman in a hijab. If I were conversing with an elderly person I would avoid making sexual jokes or any loud sudden noises.
To pretend that we can just go around treating everybody completely equally without ever giving thought to their age, gender or sexuality is living in a fictitious world wildly detached from reality.

They pimp Vivienne pretty hard. Maybe they're trying to ride on the wave of success from the Maleficent movie.

I never said or implied as such. Perhaps you did not read what I wrote correctly.

Well I have my main party all figured out now this quote cinched it.
yeah i'm starting to work it out myself, so far i know Cassandra will be in since in the demo she seems to be one of the more....morally pragmatic people in the group. I'm trying to go for an 'inquisition first' inquisitor, and with this quote (and if Vivienne actually is pro-circle) i think she will be my go to mage.

Acknowledging differences and fulfilling needs of those differences is not opposite to what I said.

I can do it with colour, but gender is far too ingrained in my upbringing. I was raised to open doors, give up my seat and pull out chairs at dinner for women. Hard habits to break.

Fourth, Vivienne.
Seems an odd choice to repeat a character we've already seen with a picture we've seen before when there are three or more characters who have not been officially even named let alone properly 'announced' yet.
That seems to be a very long and slightly rambling sentence.

Her outfit is very flamboyant for battle imo, not really keen on that look for when where fighting. I know she's Orealesian, who overdress but still

Being polite, granting respect, showing honor to someone etc is nothing to feel ashamed over and anyone annoyed with you doing this probably needs to examine their thought process. Sometimes people find offense, hold themselves as slighted where nothing was intended or even implied.

All of these are looking pretty good. I'm also glad to see the skin texture looking more real and less plastic than I had previously thought. It's all about the lighting I guess.

That's all fine and well, but these aren't people ... they are characters, there to entertain us. Part of that entertainment is titillation.
Or are you saying I should simply find all characters sexy?
PS. not that I have a problem with the companion breakdown.
