At least Solas looks properly textured.

Grind Solas's Nose down to his face, and keep him out of the sun for a couple years and you've got Voldemort.

 

 

I actually don't think Solas is ugly, but I definitely see how him being bald is making people much more perceptive of the odd shape of his head. Which I feel is just an Elf thing, since Sera has an odd shaped head too but covered mostly by hair.

 

I think it's fine overall though, the features aren't so disproportionate that they don't still look vaguely human, but eccentric enough to distance the Elves from humans.

I like that some of the characters are not conventionally beautiful. It makes them more relatable.

Compromise. If he didn't have ears, we wouldn't be able to call him a knife-ear elf.

I'm not really liking what they're doing with the elves faces , and I was ok with DA2 elf.

Sera neutral face just looks like she's pissed off , and Solas looks like somebody just farted.

The upper part of their face where the nose and  eyebrown meet give them the angry look.

And for Solas the fact is his nostrils are quite up ...it ain't helping.

 

I don't really like it , but I'm really worried how ridiculous they will look once animated in cinematic.

Because Cassandra when she's threatening the pc , Leliana when she's threatened by the Venatori and Dorian when he was screamin at a mage...all had a case of not so great facial animation .Especially the nose.

Quite frankly their expression remind me of the sims 2 smiling.

I'm just picturing Solas nostrils going even more up his face ,...oh dear.

Yeah, I noticed that in some of the shots, the noses look too short. I've seen this on Solas, Cass, IB, Dorian, etc. I think you hit the nail on the head when you attributed it to animations. But I think they all need two more clicks on the nose length slider. We need more majestic noses like Nathaniel's!

I find the DAI elf look to be the best so far, also the nose thing? I don't see it.
