Bioware said they can swap weapon sets. Varric can even use daggers instead of Bianca.
So did Leliana in Origins, yet I was able to make her a great DW.

I assumed they were just sticking to DA2's system (which was sad by the way and I didn't enjoy because I like switching between weapons)!

I wonder if this is just a temporary hairstyle for Sera (storywise). It just seems like the fringe is a bit different to how it appeared in the Inquisition meeting. Even if it is the final design how it looks in motion will make all the difference in whether or not it bothers me in the long run. Otherwise, her design looks great.
...if there's a mod that gives her the mohawk braid hairstyle from some of the concept art (but keeps it blonde) I'd use that. I thought that hairstyle looked awesome.I cant wait for the:

9 obviously. Cullen, Lelianna and Scribe girl are speculated to be npc/advisors(*hint-they dont have weapons in the pic).

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with mods like that. I use a mod for a few of characters to make them look more like their concept art.
It's when people so blatantly and largely change a character with mods that you can't even TELL that it's that character anymore that I just a bit confused and annoyed. And even then, I don't get too upset about it because it's their own game, they can do what they want.
Personally I'm really disappointed that Bioware went back to the painfully generic human-with-pointy-ears look for elves.

I actually like the more human looking elves. I suspect the more we see the Elves, the more differences we can pick out and they won't seem so similar.
Anyway, as for Sera herself, fantastic but that hair.... Something about Blonde hair in games just looks very fake. I think it's because real blonde hair reacts with the light in a particular way, but you can't really do that in a game without taking huge resources.

Looking at Sera's armor in particular I adore the fact she's actually a proper archer, not just someone who can use a bow and arrow like any other rouge. She's got an arm guard on her bow arm and a shooting glove on her shooting hand. It just makes me really proud of Bioware for some reason that she has that stuff--she's a proper archer who is clearly in an expert and knows what she's doing. She's like the DA:I version of Hawkeye.

I am sincerely hoping that character hair is the last item on the artists To-Do list. Every character has very... lackluster hair, especially noticeable with the improved engine. If we are lucky they will update everyone's hair sometime between now and release as the last part of their character model upgrades.

Hmm, just curious but is it true that some of the companions will be gay exclusive? Or is it like previous bioware games where there are some straight, rest are bi? Not that there is a problem if there are gay exclusive, but I know I'll be pretty sad if I cannot romance Sera with my male inquisitor. She fits his personality I have in mind...
