Posting my Wii U Shepards...

So, I decided to give MP a go a few hours ago.  It was hard trying to PUG into silver or gold so I decided to host my little silver solo.  Within the first wave, someone joined in and we started wrecking Cerberus silly on FB Giant.  After a few waves, we were a full team of destructive force.  I brought a human adept which is my current favourite on Wii U.

 

Then, a few folks dropped off and two of us went to FB White to bully Reapers and we got a full team in no time again.  Kicked them where it hurts and nailed yet another silver game.  Snap freeeeeeeze!!!

 

The next game was FB Dagger where things were going smoothly except for the stupid escort drone that decided it didn't want to go to the objective.  Ah screwy.  My human engineer did okay, but can't help it if the escort drone won't play ball.

 

After that, a high N7 leveled guy joined and said he was bringing a buddy.  I decided to bump it up to gold and we started destroying Cerberus at FB Jade.  Vorcha ruuuules!!!

 

I wanted to stop at this point as this was way too many games than I am used to, buuuuut... this is Wii U and I didn't know when I'd get another run like this.  One more gold at Dagger against geth.  Vorcha had it tough and the team totally went down at wave 11, but the timer completed before the last guy bled out.  I count that as a victory. lol

Got some silvers in today.  Great team except for the geth overrunning us on Palaven.  Hacking objective in the middle of nowhere with geth primes and pyros to greet us.  Not a fun time.

 

After that, we tried for Firebase White and got geth again.  This time we were only running a duo and it got pretty tough.  I used the salarian engineer and abuuuuused the hell out of the decoys.  Great game as we got a full team by the end of it.  I was spent and took off after that.  Good games all around!

If you're finding difficulty getting games in, maybe hosting will help.  It seems in my experience that most people are searching for games and not enough people are actually hosting.  Host, and you shall receive.

Slipped in one gold game on Wii U.  Kicked Reapers to kingdom come in Goddess.  Great team we got there, even though one of us dropped off.

Scorpion feels like a funny pistol here.  It feels like this pistol needs more damage to be useful.  Tried it on one silver and while it was OK, it didn't feel spectacular.

 

Had several silvers with some regular pugs and they were smooth sailing except for the LZ camping that happened due to one guy joining in and getting into trouble there.

34 minutes into a Firebase White silver solo with the human vanguard and I get simply stabbed by a hiding phantom at Wave 11.  Where's the justice in the world????

I was surprised I was surviving with the human vanguard.  Got a bit lucky with the objectives except for wave 10.  Wave 3 was hacking which went by super smoothly.  Wave 6 was object delivery  and that was a bit tougher to deal with.  The objectives were in odd places and I needed distractions to get to each of them.  Atlases didn't help too.  Wave 10 was 4 devices which I absolutely loathe.  Used up some missiles to clear up some phantom threats.  Also used one against an Atlas.

 

By Wave 11, I had 1 missile and 3 gels left.  I was in good shape.  Then, the blasted phantom showed up!  Blah!

Did some recordings of my matches using my Android tablet.  Predictably, the quality is horrible but I also played like a duffus out there.  Ah well.  Managed to pick up some spectre packs so it's all good.

Good golds today and am closer to finding out which map I'm missing for Unwavering!

From this list it looks like it's down to Jade or London.  Both are tough gold maps but I seem to remember beating Jade on gold, so it must be London!

Everything goes sideways at wave 6 when there's so many enemies on the device and the pug I'm with refuses to let go of the area.

Holy hell.  That was intense!  Last gold game and I was the last one standing and I managed to get all of us through to wave 11!

Holy hell.  Golds, silvers and I'm left exhausted after playing ME3 MP for approximately 4 hours straight.  All the rare weapons are now at level X, which is awesome!

 

Also, so many invites, not enough time nor stamina to play them.  Sorry guys!!!

1.) Do quick game searches.

      -> USE THESE PARAMETERS:

            -> Any Location

            -> Any Enemy

            -> Set your difficulty (Bronze/Silver/Gold/Platinum)

      -> if you get games in, note who you're playing with.  Wii U friends app gives you a list of players you've played with.

      -> if you find players who are good and you want to play with again, SEND INVITE.

      -> if you find players you do not want to play with, BLOCK THEM.

2.) If you do not find any game lobbies look at the gamepad screen.

      -> if the Alliance logo changes while searching for games, it means that there are ongoing MP sessions happening.  You're not able to

          join current sessions due to the game lobby being full, or your ping, or some other fluke EA server issue.

      -> if you've identified that the logo doesn't change or you get fed up, HOST YOUR OWN LOBBY.

      -> Usual peak game times are about 9 pm to 11 pm Eastern.

      -> Be patient and do not give up.  Try playing solo.  It usually takes a bit of time before other players find your lobby.

3.) do not forget to check Ness' Multiplayer Monday events.

      -> The guy is so dedicated to ME3 on Wii U that he regularly organizes these events for other players.

      -> He does bronze matches so it should ease you right into the game if your manifest is not missing a whole ton of stuff.

I keep trying to host but I'm so rubbish at soloing that i usually end up dead before anyone joins on anything above bronze.

Soloing takes a while but it gives you valuable skills and so you become a dependable player sooner or later.  If you are not able to solo silver, then it is best you start with bronze and work your way up.  I did not suddenly become good at silver.  I was stuck on bronze for a long while and learned how to solo bronze on my own.
