I think it's house keeping work for when Andromeda happens. The two will probably have separate MP profiles. That's what I think anyway.

I haven not done so but for those able, check the N7HQ to make sure that the Wii U data is in tact. We need to remind BioWare if it's still broken!

EA support suggested I try again in a couple of weeks.

I'd like to think I could've debugged it but hopefully, they get it done.

And to those hoping for NX to be a different story...
http://www.nintendol...istant_approves
You know, I don't care about Nintendo machines anymore. This is exactly why. There will be no third party support on NX because they are in bed with Sony and MS. I wished that Nintendo would just go out and build their own 'third party' games to fill that third party void. Yes, we got Bayonetta. Yes, we got Xenoblade Chronicles X. Yes, we got Devil's Third. But our sports games are totally outdated. We don't have games for other sports. I'd like Nintendo to do something like the NBA Courtside back in the Gamecube, N64 time. Not another NBA game per se, but to branch out and build the library to fill the gap.

Yep, I'm back too, thanks for your help with this.
My insanity achievement also synced up. So it's awesome that I don't have to keep loading my save anymore. ![]()

Poor Martin Sheen can't play the Mass Effect games. Someone help this man. Emilio? Help? ![]()
Mr Sheen, I absolutely loved you as the illusive man in mass effect. Do you have any cool stories from working on the games? Thanks!
Thanks for the comment on the "illusive man" but in fact, I am an illusive man as the technology required to actually play the darned disc has completely eluded me.

I've just had a very interesting weekend, MP wise, I was house/dog sitting and took my Mass Effect disc with me so I could play some Multi-Player. Of course, I'd forgotten I can't just log in to my account at someone else's house. So I created a new account and started again as rank 1. No equipment, no gear. Played 5 hours worth of Bronze with some other good 'new' people. I was playing as SlamGuard with my Tempest (lev 1, no mods!). I noticed that a lot of the 'new guys' don't seem to get the concept of the mission waves. I'm currently rank 22, name's Lawrenceiowi.
There was no one online in Bronze to start with so I text Reamazing and played with her at first. It was funny, I actually had a higher score than her at the end of one of the waves ![]()

Starting a new manifest sucks. I hate doing that. It's like losing all the hours you spent on your gear. At least you got some games in with Ree. I sent an invite to her during the weekend but the lobby got filled up swiftly. Ah well. :-(

Knowing the maps so well and the strategy too was a big help. Also, having Rea there at the start was a big help.

I hadn't realised the Stasis bubble removes their shields too.

Still got no penetration mod so the Centurions are a nightmare! Having to stagger then first and then shoot before their shield's back in place.
I hadn't realised the Stasis bubble removes their shields too.
It does! Also, pull works really well. If you have grenades, tossing grenades behind them also kills them for good. If you can catch them behind you, cryo blast, or snap freeze can do the trick.

Saturday? That's when we were playing, she said she'd had an invite
I think it must've been Sunday morning (UK time) when I saw her. You weren't online at the time I sent her an invite.

I had to use a new id because of Nintendo but I used my normal origin account
I was under the impression if you used your normal Origin account, you'd get your manifest back. ![]()

I'm pretty certain I played with her Saturday morning (GMT) so it wasn't your invite that came in whilst we were playing. I would have appeared as not online because Lawrenceiow, who is on your friend list, was not available to me (see separate response) so I used lawrenceiowi. She's been unwell over the weekend so may have ended up not playing with anyone on Sunday even if she started the game.

I was under the impression if you used your normal Origin account, you'd get your manifest back.
So, the events that happened to me:
- Tried linking lawrenceiow to a different WiiU, was notified that I wouldn't be able to link it back again and in anycase would needed to have unlinked it from my own WiiU first. I was not at home so couldn't do that.
- Created a new account on the other WiiU - lawrenceiowi
- Started Mass Effect 3 - my save data is not on this WiiU, in fact no one has ever played ME on this console.
- Prompted for an email and password or create a new Origin ID. I used my normal email and password that I use to log in to Origin. This worked and I arrived at the "Welcome to the N7 Special Ops Team" screen.
- So, although I didn't create a new Origin ID, I am logged in as player lawrenceiowi with 1 Medigel, 1 special ops pack, 1 cobra and 1 Thermal Clip Pack. I picked up the Tempest with the special intro pack.
