If I were to wager a guess, it's the Paladin, yes?

 

That's a really good class with very little downside to it.  Snap freeze abuse for the win!

 

Ree's probably towing around with her asari vanguard.  I'll never be as good with that kit as she is.

So, the events that happened to me:

1. Tried linking lawrenceiow to a different WiiU, was notified that I wouldn't be able to link it back again and in anycase would needed to have unlinked it from my own WiiU first. I was not at home so couldn't do that.
2. Created a new account on the other WiiU - lawrenceiowi
3. Started Mass Effect 3 - my save data is not on this WiiU, in fact no one has ever played ME on this console.
4. Prompted for an email and password or create a new Origin ID. I used my normal email and password that I use to log in to Origin. This worked and I arrived at the "Welcome to the N7 Special Ops Team" screen.
5. So, although I didn't create a new Origin ID, I am logged in as player lawrenceiowi with 1 Medigel, 1 special ops pack, 1 cobra and 1 Thermal Clip Pack. I picked up the Tempest with the special intro pack.

 

 

It's probably for the best that you didn't use your existing account.  Although, now you have two Wii U manifests that need to be completed. Mwahahahaha!

Nathan was Shadow and Einstein was Vorcha.

 

Einstein and I started on Silver whilst we waited for Rea to join. She joined part way through wave 4 and still beat me  

 

We then went to change it to Gold but Nathan (random) arrived. As soon as Einstein set it to Gold Nathan said he was backing out as he's only played Gold once before and was utter rubbish at it, hence he'd searched for Silver.

 

We managed to talk him into staying and I think he was glad he did, the picture above was the first time he played Gold the whole way through. He played very well too, there was a couple of times when the Banshees bested Einstein and Rea leaving just the two of us. We then cleared up with me freezing and him detonating with Slash.

 

In fact, the only reason I managed to beat Einstein at all was because he went down to a Banshee so early on in two of the waves. He still was ahead of me come wave 11 though so I was really surprised when the final score came up. Hence the desire to take the photo, not only was I over 100,000 (rare enough) but I was also at the top of a Gold game. I think I've only ever been there twice before.

In the right hands I know you're right, but in my hands it rarely works that way for me. Unless I'm in a Bronze/Silver game.

It looks weird on the main menu as I have only been in MP and therefore there's only three options - I'm so used to seeing more.

The N7 Paladin makes that kind of scoring very possible though.  On Wii U, it's the kit that can setup everything from cryo explosions to fire explosions depending on how you spec him.  There are really, really good builds in ME3 that dramatically increase your score output, but you can hardly go wrong with almost any Paladin build as long as you have snap freeze.

 

So, don't be surprised.  Having the Paladin and your skill set in the game makes that kind of score absolutely possible.

If you've got walls separating you and the horde, you can really do some serious damage with the kit.

On PC, there's also the Downloadable Content menu.  Sometimes, I miss that option on Wii U.

No. Miitomo doesn't allow messaging. So we need a chat everyone uses. I'd suggest something old fashioned like an IRC chat that we all set as the browser's home page so when we open the browser, we auto log into the chat.

I don't think so. I'd check the Wi-Fi interference in your area. There has to be a rational explanation for your difficulties.

The second link is a 3rd party (unofficial) Windows Mobile app for HipChat.  So, I think it might work out.  Your point on the web app is definitely a fair point though.

It's part of the experience.  Sometimes, you get really lousy 3rd wave objectives.  It's the objective waves that are usually a pain.  What were you using and what were the settings?
