What Dragon Age 3 might need to do to keep current popular interest is:

a ) Have you make a complex character
b ) Have your character killed by a disease about 1/3 of the way through the story. Have you make a new character.
c ) Kill that character about 1/6 of the way through the next part of the story. Make you play an NPC
d ) For the rest of the game, kill all party NPC's until they are all dead. Then the bad guys win.

I assumed they'd been watching (or reading) Game of Thrones, but this is also a good question :) .

When I read that title, I was expecting an essay. Needless to say, I am disappointed.

Is this about Khal Drogo?

I think he might have been upset about the deaths of Khal Drogo and Oberyn Martell.

I'm hoping this team avoids that term like the plague.

My first character will be named Syrio Forel, and everything will go as expected.

I hope people avoid the "like the plague" term like Michael Jackson at a child's birthday party

I like the idea of starting a video game as a super powerful character, whom you get to customize from the ground up, only to have them perish instantly when the big bad shows up, then immediately have to re roll as an utter noob.
