about Armored Compartments
being used on GOLD? I have no issues with it, but I have never seen someone who is so desperate to spawn nuke so many times before Wave 6. And I think the person's lust for nuking really extended the time of our matches, because there was a lot of nuking during Objective Waves... >_>
How do you feel...

I don't remember the last time I saw AC in a gold random game.

Considering how many thermal clips and rockets the store gives, it might be a valid strategy

It's a bit rare to see AC users on gold. I have seen a fair bit on plat though.
In any case, the solution is the same: I leave the lobby without thinking twice.

I have very rarely seen AC in gold lobbies (maybe one or two times).
I have encountered a crazy spawns nuker one time. The guy nuked all the first 5 waves ! He also rage-gelled systematically. I guess that he was discharging some frustration in the game.

I very rarely see AC used period, even in platinum, however to answer the question in the OP it doesn't bother me. If you want to spawn nuke, go for it.

Armored compartments don't bother me as much as bad rocket use. I actually see more missile glitchers in gold than I see Armored Compartments.

I think score wh*ring plays into this factor too...

Yes, but it was a better end for him than dying in an hospital.

I will never ever forgive BioWare for how they dealt with Thane in ME3 (except citadel DLC cuz Thane's part in it was really well done, as Shepard's LI). :/

The guy was a BoTB guy with maxed manifest... that explains why... I still laugh at the guy, because my Fury Javelin still topped the score board even when there was an N7 Fury BE spammer. The BoTB guy was the Phoenix Adept in the match where I was my Fury Javelin, and yes, he detonated a lot of BEs and nuked a lot while I only nuked TWICE. I still wonder how I managed to top him on scoreboard, he was a complete power house, and I didn't even have Cyclonics...

It wasn't that bad to me.
He was terminally Ill, and there was no way he could have survived. He died a hero, stopping a ****** from killing the salarian by using his hands only, even though, as I said he was terminally Ill. That speaked volume of his value and his honor, to me.
Still, I would have preferred to see him go down in a much nastier situation, preferably against the reapers. But the way they handled it wasn't too bad in my opinion.
The problem, if anything, is that the ****** that goes by the name of Kai Length was horribly horribly HORRIBLY characterized. He should have been a badass and there should have been a sense of accomplishment when you kill him. Instead, he was just a random, annoying ******. Worst enemy characterization bioware ever did, in my opinion. And as a result, Thane's death felt much less epic and tragic than it could have been...

Doesn't really bother me too much. Most of the questionable nuking I see doesn't involve AC anyway, and if there are a couple of worse-equipped and probably-less-experienced players rather than a lobby full of probable veterans, the extra Cobras might come in handy.
The gear choices that make me roll my eyes are more GC on AIU and TGIs, and the much more rarely seen Medigel Transmitter. The latter says volumes about how much faith the wearer has in random players, heh.

IMO it would have been better if Thane had defeated Kai Lame and died due to over-exertion because of his disease.

It's pretty rare. Most of the times I see it equipped.. they end up not firing off more than 2-3 anyway.
Also.. Thane sucks. His cutscenes were the second most annoying in ME2, behind Miranda's. I always skipped them.. Kai Leng sucks too.. he was like a bad comic book character.

I've never had tons of missiles, use them up nearly as fast as I get them (normal, not ACs). If someone wants to spawn nuke, get kill streaks, top the scoreboard -- more power to them! Makes for -- faster games/more credits per:minute. The opposite seems more typical: pugs not having/not using them when they could save things.

My problem with Kai Leng was that the first time I played ME3 I had no idea who the **** he was... And in the game you really don't get that many answers about he's past. After I read the comics he made lot more sense, as did many other things regarding ME3.
On topic:
I've had a couple of games on gold where host has been rocking TGI+harrier with AC5 without other consumables. Both times it was preset map where spawns are easy to nuke. They would start nuking from wave 5 and nuke on every wave after that... pretty retarded games IMO.

Never read the comics, so I guess that makes sense.
What *doesn't* make any ****** sense whatsoever is to write a game where one of the main antagonists is a ****** noone unless you read a damn comic.
