i still think what we saw in the destiny trailers are what really happened and varric changed things because he wanted to protect his friends.  but that is my own personal cannon.

Agree with OP.  Those trailers helped me forge my first playthroughs of the game.

I really hope they don't make a cgi trailer.  Biggest waste of time and money for video games.

Personally, I think if the game has good enough graphics, that it doesn't need a CGI trailer.  DA:I has good enough graphics that I feel we don't need a CGI trailer.  Would I be against a CGI trailer if they made one?  No not really but I would feel that they are wasting their money when the game's graphics are good enough to make trailers in the first place.

I think I remember them saying they weren't going to this time because "they don't need to". Even the shot of Morrigan from the original trailer was in-engine. They prettied up the lighting and air sparkles, but that was their in-game Morrigan model.
