Is this game more like DA1, DA2, or Baldur's Gate?

Hello, so I've read some about DAI, and I was interested in some things game-wise such as the return to more strategy heavy combat, but also artistically the trailer was less of like some kind of action hero thing (DA2) and seemed to be slightly more focused on relationships between more human characters in the way I remember from older Bioware games like DA1 but also especially Baldur's Gate.

For me though, I'm not really deep into, well, a lot of these things and I'm pretty sure based on the posts here you guys are going to have a strong opinion on something like this because you have followed the game much more closely than I have.

Basically, Baldur's Gate is one of my favorite games ever, I thought DA1 was pretty cool but I was disappointed at the same time, and DA2 was one of the most disappointing games I've ever played, period. Like, it wasn't oh I'm not a fan of this Blizzard game as much as the other one, but it's still fun, it was, I just gave up halfway.

At any rate, I just wanted to get a sense of where this game is aiming from the hardcore fans here who probably know more than I do about what's going on. I just don't want a dating sim/action hero thing that was DA2, nor the one-dimensionality of the darkspawn enemy in DA1, but so far, I just haven't found a lot about DAI from what I've seen on gaming websites. There are a few trailers almost invariably showing environment after environment, and then there was that fast paced trailer which at least didn't show (excessively) generic darkspawn foes or (excessively) action sequences, but that's not a lot to go on for the moment.

So... what is this game really aiming for in the end? Are we going to go up against an Irenicus or Melissan, or am I going to super stylishly jump flip cut some big black dragon?
