According to the link, EA's press conference is on Monday the 9th of June at 11:30am PDT (or 7:30pm if you live in the UK like me). They're supposedly talking about Battlefield: HardlineDragon Age: Inquisition, a few sports games, Mirror's Edge 2 and Star Wars Battlefront III - but what's really interesting is that EA have confirmed they'll be talking about a new game from Criterion Games and five other projects.

One of these games is a new console and PC title due out in the third quarter of 2014.

Electronic Arts stated during their four quarter results conference call;

“We are filling the Battlefield hole, since you don’t have one every year, with the other releases such as UFCFIFA World CupDragon Age, etc. I’d say two-thirds of that hole is filled by our other releases in this year, and the last one-third of the hole should be filled by this game, to give you an idea of the weight it has.”

I have a funny feeling this is the next Mass Effect game - it would likely be released either Q3/Q4 of 2014 or Q1/Q2 of 2015, because a release date of late 2015 would bring it too close to Star Wars Battlefront III. I feel incredibly excited now, knowing that we might possibly get that rumoured E3 reveal trailer in just two days.

For those not attending the actual conference like me, here is the livestream link; http://www.gamespot....onference-2014/

What do you guys think? Am I being too optimistic here?

I doubt they'd release Dragon Age and Mass Effect games within such close succession of one another.

I also think there is a good possibility that we get to see something ME-related on E3. However, I regard a Q4 2014 release as highly unlikely. Especially, if you remember Yanick Roy's recent tweet, saying that they're about halfway through development...

True. Then how does early-mid 2015 sound? I doubt EA would want it to release so close to Battlefront III. By the maths, if they're halfway through development now and keep up the same rate of development, the game should be finished by mid 2015 - provided EA doesn't pull it's usual trick of forcing devs to release games early.

Considering they are both targeting almost the same audience, I actually don't think close prximity is much of an issue. I suspect that two months apart between the releases would be good enough to finish one game, then start the other and following that continuing to hop between both games with staggered DLC releases respectively.

I wouldn't put it past them to get the game out by February or March of 2015.

Operating on  EA's timetables, ME2 and ME3 were both released around or before that period.

I'd bet my money on Q3 2015. I guess, development is scheduled to provide a Q2 release with likely delays leading to Q3. So we'd get a full coverage on E3 2015.

Oh, well. If one of the games at the conference is the next Mass Effect, then at least we'll hopefully get something in terms of new information. If not at E3, then there's always the developer blog and Twitter.

Bioware. Please. I want closure on the playable races matter.

Doesn't necessarily mean that the game would be released next month. Q3 spans from July to September.

There is absolutely no way the game could release in even 4 months. Not even because of developement state but because the marketing would want way more time to build promo campaign

Next-gen port of the trilogy? A completely different game? Filling the Battlefield hole = more / new style of multiplayer? Could be many things - but I doubt it would be as big as a Mass Effect game in that short timescale. They have been building up the hype for Inquisition for several months now and that's due out in the fall. They would probably push a 6-12 month min on marketing for anything specifically in the ME franchise.

Keep in mind my friends ME is already in Middle of Production, Meaning Beta Stage or almost Pre-Alpha, the game has been in the works for about 2 or 3 years now.

Also keep in mind that both Dragon Age & also Mass Effect are under Seperated teams, So it could be a possibility that ME could be released this Year or early Q1st or Spring-Summer 2015 according to my Sources seems to indicate ME will be released Next Year during the Spring.

Keep in mind that would make 3 Years since ME 3 released in 2012, also take in the account that all Bioware games have a 3 Year GAP release

Dragon Age Origins 2009

Dragon Age 2 2011

Dragon Age Inquisition 2014

Mass Effect 2007

Mass Effect 2 2009

Mass Effect 3 2012

Well my bad Most are 2 Year gap minus Inquisition & ME 3 which are 3 Year Gap

ME came out in 2007 which was 7 Years ago so 2016 would mark TEN YEARS so I think that would be an awesome time to re-release the HD Trilogy being the 10th Anniversary

ME 3 2012 so ME 2015 makes 3 YEARS so expect to see ME in 2015 SPRING, not Winter 2014, I Been a gamer since 1983, one thing I am good at is figure out the pattern of things & when they release.

ME UNTITLED - SPRING Q2 2015 ALL CONSOLES + PC considering Current is still swinging with MK X & Persona 5 Bioware would be foolish to Ignore PS3 & 360 owners.

While HD Trilogy should be Next Gen only due to size of DLC.

This sounds about right. I'm betting my money on very early 2015.

The impatient side of me hopes we see it this year, the realist side of me can't see it being ready that soon, and the bitter side of me doesn't want another rushed Mass Effect game.

As long as we get the following at E3, I can probably withstand the wait:

- A General Release Date
- A Short Trailer
- When The Game Is Set
- Who We'll Play As
- What The Basic Premise Is

Yeah, that's asking for a lot, but it's been so long!

True enough Geth_Prime, I just hope Bioware can stand to part with some details for us tomorrow at EA's E3 Press Conference.

Eon, according to my sources, Expect to see E3 in some form or shape, but according to what I have gathered. ME will be shown similar towards Inquisition's revealed Last Year's reveal being a complete CGI Trailer.

My sources, tell me that it will be very cryptic also, & they also claim ME Trilogy HD could also be teased but they did say expect to see ME during E3 1 way or the other rather the new Upcoming game or HD Trilogy remains unknown which Bioware will show.

Expect to see these either during MS Press or the EA Press. but Inquisition wasn't shown last year until EA Press. So I also expect to see this from Mass Effect.

I expect some OMG Moments, such as Info on the game, the name of the game, & an ETA Release date such as Inquisition had last year saying Winter 2014, with ME being SPRING 2015.

Looks like another busy year in 2015 MK, Persona, Tales, & Mass Effect, a game without Shepard is more than enough to make me buy the game right there.

Like I said Bioware would be foolish to ignore PS3 & 360 consoles due to the fact they are still popular, & also many games are still in production from Mortal Kombat, Tales, Persona, or others such as WWE 2K15.

While HD should be Next Gen Only this I could understand due to the size of DLC Content.

Also looks like I was wrong about the new ME saying it would be a Spin-Off, Sequel or Prequel but Bioware pulls an un-expected move going Brand New & New Direction & new Galaxy or Universe.

Meaning this will not be in the Milky Way or Terminus, could be done like Star Trek Voyager done being in the Alpha Quadrant & the new Species replacing the Borg as the new Baddies.

Maybe Mass Effect does this similar a new Enemy in a new Universe, way worse than the Reapers making them look like weak chickens in comparison.

Looks like this game will not be on Current Cause the game looks way to Graphical to be on PS3 or 360 the game is also very Shiny, More Detailed like in full 1080p HD also very futuristic.

I also spoted a Broken Bridge, N7 Armor looks like H5, & a Krogan, also spotted a Purple Planet on the Galaxy Map.
