PC that I designed and built just for gaming (although it excels at editing photos and videos as well).
What machine would you play the next Mass Effect on?

PC, definetively.
I don't understand how anyone can play gun-based combat with a gamepad. Just frustrates the hell out of me. A mouse and keyboard is superior... except for action- based games like DMC. The only downpart for Pc is Spyrigin.
But in general i don't even see any reason to buy a console. Every titel which picked my interest is also gonna be released on Pc... and most of the time, the games are cheaper, too.

Oh, riiiiight...
You forgot off-TV play. In case somebody wants to watch TV, press - (minus) to switch to Gamepad. Done!

I'm sorry but I have a addiction to posting pictures, gifs or memes. You can't stop me now!

What's superior or inferior is pretty much subjective. For me, it came down to convenience and money, and buying a PS3 was an order of magnitude cheaper. I refuse to game on my laptop, but wanted something I can stick in behind my television set. I can do this with a PC, but certainly not for $300, unless I scrounge up parts secondhand.PC, definetively.

Of course, there's also the little issue that I hate living with Windows, and avoid it whenever possible, so a gaming PC would basically see no time with regular computing, making it an even bigger waste of money.

I like Windows. I look out the window in the morning everyday.
Also, you can upgrade your PC, if you're a real gamer.

If the upcoming Mass Effect games will be as great as the previous trilogy, I will buy it on PC/X1/PS4.

PC, for the best Graphics o.o
What matters most? Graphics, or gameplay?
You see, gameplay would be more polished if the graphics weren't so. How do I know this? Look at Nintendo's consoles, you'll see the best selection of great games.
Alas, there is a certain limit to how good the graphics can be before the gameplay gets dumbed down.
That is why I choose the Wii U over the PS4 and Xbox One, and because I grew up on bright and colorful things, and I mildly get sick of dark and gritty products. Games with great stories are an exception, not story-book games, like the Last of Us, something that allows you to fully control the character in any way.
Even if Mass Effect 4 doesn't come to Wii U, us Nintendo gamers could eventually get the ME Trilogy with or without ME4, the fourth installment could come as a separate product.
And if EA/BioWare screws us over once again, you know what to do!

Xbox One. I just prefer playing it on a console. I wont be buying one anytime soon, as I have too many Xbox 360 games I still haven't played due to my Mass Effect addiction. It will be nice to play a ME game on an Xbox that doesn't require me to keep switching discs - What a pain in the butt!!!

Probably do what I did with the first trilogy - start on the Xbox, and then after playing it many, many times on that, switch to PC. The amount and scope of mods almost makes it a completely different game.

Then, my friend, Steam is the thing just for you.
Go grab a PC or laptop. You can play the ME Trilogy on just about any device.

Grabbing a PS4 this week hopefully there's a trilogy release on the way for it. I'm done with Xbox and have no desire to join the PC crowd.

I actually downloaded the ME2 demo from Steam and tried playing it on my laptop, and I just didn't like it. I know it looks better on PC than on Xbox 360 and PS3, and you can use mods, but just can't get the hang of playing it on PC - guess I just don't have the patience. I'm probably more comfortable using a controller since that's what I started with. ME2 does not offer controller support on PC. I've actually been playing the trilogy on PS3 lately, because there's no disc changing. Unfortunately, it doesn't look as good as the Xbox version. Of course neither compares to PC when it comes to graphics, but I'm happy with my consoles. Thanks anyway!
