So what? I think Morrigan could wipe the floor with most of them.

I also think that Wynne is stronger than Anders due to having a much higher class spirit within her.

As I said we don't see much mages in action. We just saw Morrigan eluding and evading people, not fighting them. We don't see much power display from Wynne either, except perhaps her scene in Asunder fighting a demon. We have seen a lot of Anders and Justice and their power displays. Wynne might in fact be powerful but it was never shown. One of the things that intrigue me is the fact that we have seen many abomination but only Anders was able to cure a tranquil temporarily by simply calling out Justice. The power used should be quite strong because it brought a piece of the fade itself in to the world "burning like a sun" as described by Karl. The magic Anders used countered a thousand year old anti-magic ritual.

I am quite intrigued about spirit possession in general and its a shame Wynne had to die in a book so we don't see much of her.

Of course we have to consider how passive faith was. I am absolutely sure Anders could have handled Faith like a Breeze. Justice (Vengeance) was a force to reckon with.

Faith is still more power than Justice

Manipulated spirits can become more powerful, confirmed by Gaider. Faith spirits are stronger than Justice spirits, true. But by that point it was Vengeance not Justice.

Gaider made an example of rage demon (one of weakest) who can instead of simple anger embrace revenge and become a retribution demon, becoming much more powerful, possibly as powerful as pride or at least desire. Vengeance is most likely a similar case. The similarity between concepts help us understand it as well (Vengeance and Retribution which are both strong emotions)

Hardly. What great feats has Anders done? Beaten Tranquility? Any spiritual entity can do such things, no matter the power level.

Define great feat. I consider removing people who train for years to counter your kind with a snap a great enough feat. And he did it to a full squad of them. Also he did not even receive a scratch when fully stabbed by a sword. And when we try to kill him Vengeance does not interfere so maybe that is why he dies. Maybe same thing would have happened if Vengeance did something. It is an speculation but its a good one because its quite possible as long his short story is canon which it is until Bioware says otherwise.

Also as I said there is always the vigils keep. "Hundreds of darkspawn corpse without a physical wound, all slain with magic". And that was before Vengeance.

I think that Flemeth is the most powerful magic user. True she isn't human or possessed (as far as we know) she has lived for centuries, is able to shape shift into a dragon and cheat death. Normal mortal talking the player character or Morrigan tied with Anders followed by Merrill and Wynne.

Technically Anders DID get a scratch from being impaled, he just didn't die from it. Which makes sense since the spirit inside of him sustained him now. And it isn't unusual for an Abomination to take out entire squads of Templars.

I plan on making my Dalish Mage Inquisitor a power hungry elf and mage supremecist. After I have saved Thedas from the demons, Arlathan shall be restored and then the Qunari and Tevinter Imperium shall be defeated.

Kind of strange to be a Dalish mage supremecist. Their job is to be Keepers as well. They are guardians of their people/clans/lore. In the words of Hahren Paivel, "You belong to more than just yourself, da'len."

Not to mention that Dalish believe that all elves are connected to magic anyhow.

Of course, do what you want. I'm just being a lore snob. ;)

Somewhat true. As a PC I have the power to state my views which maybe unique.I will be a mixture between Darth Sidious and Saruman the White, except in their twenties not in their 120's. I said elven supremecist not just Dalish. I support elves from all walks of life. Seriously some Dalish are just stupid. Creating a werewolf curse. Letting a demon possess you. Summoning a Forbidden One? Need I go on?
My Inquisitor will bring back respect and common sense back to the elvhen. I was probably just be a Keeper's First, attending the peace summit out of curiosity then BOOM! Glowly hand=Unlimited Power!

You call Zathrian stupid, but not Darth Sidious and Saruman? I don't understand. They all seem equally stupid.

I will concede that they messed up on certain areas of their plans. But thankfully I have learned from their failures. For further information or assistance in your villainous, I mean valiant endeavors look up how to be an evil overlord. It has great pointers for any aspiring villain. Don't delay, be evil today! Results may vary.

I'm not much for evil overlords. I like misguided humans who do "evil" things though. ;) Like, say... Loghain.

Or people beyond good and evil. Probably Flemeth is this.

That is one reason why I love Bioware games. You choose what kind of character you are.

Kind of. I haven't seen us get the opportunity to be evil overlords since Kotor... I think. At worst, we're "succeed at all costs" antiheroes in most games. Spectres, Wardens, etc..

You can not give a crap about wardens and even alistair says that he knows that you are fighting with darkspawn for own benefit and own monstrous instincts if you get - 100 approval with him not mention that you can do a lot cruel and unnecessary things because you can. In the end of the day you have to only stop blight.

In D&D terms, I think Flemeth is Chaotic Neutral.

But I could be dead wrong too. We'll see.
