The slayer's a ******* killing machine, but his host dependency stops me from using him regularly. :(

Oh yes, the Slayer on host is something like this:

Whereas off host something like this:

1. Shadow, she's probably top 5.

2. Shadow & Slayer

3. Destroyer with striker, they seem to clean up on platinum.

1. Favourite would have to be the Shadow. Definitely in my top ten kits. I also like the Fury and Paladin and play both regularly. Demolisher is a bit boring so I only play occasionally. I find the Destroyer unpleasant so I almost never play him. Slayer is great fun on host, but painfully frustrating off host, so I rarely play him.

2. Paladin and Slayer.

3. Destroyer.

1.  Fury, much more than any of the others.  Not sure what my Top 5 is because I'm trying to mix it up a lot.  It's a hell of an adrenaline rush until the turret spam and then it's RAAAAAAGE.  Also much less fun in hack circles taking fire from long range.  But it's great fun on a close-quarters map like Glacier or White.

2.  Paladin / GE.  CE/FE all over the place, use disruptor if you want TBs as well.

3.  Destroyer, if one has the weapons for it; most straightforward  / least squishy.

1. Which of the N7 characters do you use most and why? Does he/she make it to your top 5 characters?

2. Create a combination for a duo and use at least one N7 in it.

3. Which, in your opinion, is the easiest N7 kit for beginners? (If they have it of course)

In general, give us your thoughts about the N7's.  ;) When are they great, when do they suck?

1) Shadow - love the playstyle, she's a ton of fun for me. Top 5? She's my favorite  <3

2) Shadow + Paladin vs. Cerberus

3) I'd say Destroyer or Demo girl ... weapons and/or 'nades.

1) N7 Shadow. Used to melee, but I now snipe after my blade dulled.

2) Shadow and Slayer, 'cause we only need ninjas!

3) N7 Destroyer, 'cause they need them infi-rockets!

1. N7 Fury is the top on my list...I always use her run on gold game.

2. N7 Fury combine with N7 Slayer

3. IMO, N7 Destroyer is easiest kit for beginners...easy to build and easy to play.
Open devastator mode, use the cover and shoot everything in sight. Simple as it is.

1. Demolisher

2. A lot of match ups:

  • N7 Demolisher + Quarian Female Engineer/Geth Jagernaut
  • N7 Paladin + Krogan Warlord/N7 Destroyer
  • N7 Fury + Asari Valkyrie/Awakened Collector

3. Demolisher is the easiest to play. But takes some practice to use all her potential.

A lot of people think N7 Demolisher is a boring, newbie class. And I won't argue with this, as it might just be so. Still she is one of the few who have the potential of infinitely keeping a choke point on a map, keeping the rest of the team fairly safe. She is the one favouring point defence over mobile strike force. Still for any begginer it will be enought to throw all you have at the enemies. I like her due to hers' team influence. She does not care for the weight of the weapons and with the Supply Pylon can hold her ground in all ocasions. She is also verstile when it comes to weapon choosing. Sniper Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun... Whatever you like will work for her. Still she is just a semi-support class. Never forget that.

You have a point there with the Demolisher and Destroyer being relatively easy to use for beginners, there isn't much you can do wrong with those kits: use cover, don't get overwhelmed (OK, those two go for any kit), shoot, grenades/Hawk- can't say I have seen a "bad" build for those two. (On the contrary, seeing a Slayer with a Black Widow and Graal is just... interesting ) From those two I mostly see people using the Destroyer in pugs, not that many Demolishers out there.

They are the "best of the best" and the last line of defence.... With the Earth DLC Bioware gave us some good characters. A lot has already been said about them, but among all the "appreciation" threads the N7 are yet missing.

So why not create a N7 appreciation thread. ^^

wallpaper-018-earth-1920x1080.jpg

And to start, here are some questions you can think about:

And any cool pics? Show us!

1)Probably the Paladin. Slayer would be first if not for playing off host a bit. Nope

2)Paladin and DMless Destroyer. Screen shake and snap cheese makes people cry.

3)Easiest to use as far as just spamming one power is likely the Paladin or Slayer using snap freeze or biotic slash. I think the easiest to get the most out of and actually play decent is the Paladin. Demolisher, Destroyer are both pretty straight forward and easy kits though.

1 - Destroyer. Because guns. I barely play anymore and when I do it's either a TSol or GE so I can't say I have more than a top two.

2 - Destroyer and Demolisher

3 - Easiest to use is the Demolisher. Just nade spam everything.

Most favorite for me is adapt fury, dark channel and throw is an awesome combo for a biotic lover like myself.

I don't like the fury infiltrator myself. That and the GJ are two of the most used classes and it annoys me. Spam electric slash gets old fast.

Shadow but like all N7 characters

Shadow and Paladin = Tech explosions and easier objectives. Wall hack heaven.

Shadow because not so dependant on consumables, weapons or gear for new players

1. Destroyer because he's a walking tank and can hand out death certificates mightily fast with a Typhoon and The Slayer because of BC & BS

2. Destroyer and Fury...fury can hit'em fast quick with the dark channel, warp explosions and the Destroyer can come in to clean up the mess that doesn't die fast enough..

3. The slayer is real easy to pick up and play...warp thru walls and most folks that just want to play will find BS a good offensive and defensive power.

BTW... if we are so N7 enthusiastic, how about N7 Demolisher with N7 Typhoon and N7 Vailant? She alone can chop through everything with easy. Using grenades for defences and the A-Rifle to chop guys in half... While sniping those that are too afraid to come near... While having infinite supply of ammo and grenades... While looking damn fine in that armor of hers... I would say a win win :)

I'm a man of simple tastes and I enjoy Destroyer the most.

Typhoon + hawk missles = endless DAKKADAKADAKKADAKA.

Oh ya, too good to keep this thread down.

Fury all the way! .. though closely followed by Slayer.

The Fury just has all the stuff I want with one exception though, is prefer my avatars to be same gender as I as I associate with them more, so Why couldn't they have made her like me? As ruggedly handsome tough guy! :)

I like all of them, but for a Duo I enjoy the Fury/Valkyrie best. Keep doing scissor maneuvers as you advance to play off each other AF for mass explosions, make the Valk a melee hybrid to do melee between explosions and ya, great fun.

Easiest I would go with Destroyer, and this guy uses real power armor, none of this bird food crap that the pigeons like.

And Earth DLC was the best DLC to me. I love all the kits in it.

This DLC is what made me start playing me3mp. I remember wanting the N7 character cards so bad I sighed when a UR drops instead. On topic:

1. Paladin & Destroyer. Not sure about top lists. I never gave them a thought, I tend to just play whatever I feel like playing.

2. Slayer/Volus, Paladin + any rapid detonator.

3. Destroyer probably.

1: Paladin (melee specced) and Fury - simply because I don't like the Demolisher, I'm not too keen on the Destroyer or Shadow and I don't particularly like the Slayer off-host.

2: Paladin + GE for snap freeze > overload stupidity

3: Destroyer... just wander around with the LMB held down - you can't really go wrong.

In short ... I don't really like the N7 kits apart from the Fury.
