Do you think we will have this for the advisers (Cullen, Leliana, Scribe Lady)?

I can see them including this feature for them, even though they are not companions. Mainly because Cullen is a romance option.

What do you think?

against gifts. even if these gifts are related to the plot in some kind. like in DA2, book for Fenris or Blade.

they break everything character stands for. can't deal with Sten? Sure give him a cookie - now you are best friends. Cool but, what's the point if you can't understand and uncover the character for yourself?

gifts are breaking individualism of the characters.

Don't... gifts show the individualism of each character? They're unique to each character.

Also, in DA2, gifts could result in either friendship or rivalry, depending on what your relationship already was.

And DA2 gifts all triggered conversations. Which is exactly what you're asking for.

I don't see how it's character breaking, at least in regards to the base game gifts. The Feastday Presents were pretty immersion-breaking (you could have Sten and Morrigan bearing their souls to you on your first visit back to camp), and, yeah, the spamming of presents can be serious metagaming and trying to skip what, IMO, are some of the best dialogues, but if they are spaced far enough apart in story/game progression and done in a similar manner to DAII and the "special" DA:O ones (with a cutscene and conversation about it), I think it's awesome. I buy gifts for my friends IRL when I can, just because I have a hard time communicating and want to show them that I actually do care about them. I don't think I do it so I can fix our relationship after I brutally murder somebody and hear them say dryly, "Jo-Bob Disapproves -20." xD
