The Garrus and Tali fans inundated the old board with thread after thread and see where it got them? Exactly where they wanted to be... So all I can say is deal with it as that was the no.1 response given in ANY of the old boards threads like Tali love 52 or Garrus love 30, so fair is fair, really, if you don't like em, deal with it, or just ignore them...

How sad, romance is being pushed as the most important part of this game. I've seen several posts saying things like "Pre-order canceled, no FF" or "I can't romance her? WTF? no purchase for me"

It's a contributing factor to the ****ing game, not the main part. If you want a romance sim, move to japan. alternatively, G.A.F.L.

I will agree that cancelling a preorder over this is ridiculous, though, if they would have only added gay romances I wonder how many people would have freaked out and cancelled their orders, even though it's just a "small part of the game"

Also I like the name, JigPig, even though your response was a bit to... heated, for my tastes, I can admit to a WIN name when I see one

Except that same gender romance will never happen again. They are showing off ME2 in fromnt of 35 million football watching, beer drinking, shooter fans THIS sunday. That's right 35 million. Tali and Garrus heterosexual romances don't interfere with them liking the game while gay romances would make them flame it to death to all their friends and drive the sales into the dirt....literally. At this point it doesn't matter if they cry a thousand times louder than talimancers.....it just won't happen. The GTA IV DLC has proven how well  anything related to something gay fllies with shooter fans.....like lead baloons.

People weren't freaked out of the original ME. <_<
On the contrary that Liara/FemShep scene attracted more players. And as someone's already mentioned BioWare made it clear that romances DO matter in ME Universe.

So count me in. I am all for more options!
