No, it still doesn't make sense. Sure ME1 had f/f romances, but it's not like it was a huge selling potint. And even if it gone, people will still buy it. Well there will be F/F in ME3  hence liara and there will be no M/M romance. romance in this game was a huge selling point. and that devs thing if you dont concider liara a female your a lunatic. by definition she isnt. but she has breasts and a vagina. they designed asari to be womenly and they succeeded.

You claimed that they were trying to get the female crowd, they could care less at this point.

The reason they made Thane a romance option was because male shep had 3 LI's and to be fair they made Thane to fill that void in the femshep roster.  I really doubt it was anything else as the player explosion over femshep getting shorted in the number of LI's would have been even more Epic than this fallout.

There is absolutely no reason that they couldn't have made a F/F option, which is evident in the fact that there was ZERO B*itching about the assumed f/f that was going to be in the game a few weeks ago and before.  Nobody cared and it was a well established assumption that there would be a f/f LI in the game (Asari) which many were looking forward to actually. The only complaining about it was that Samara might not fit the romance personality (wynne syndrome, too old etc) at all, not that she was a potential gay romance. But now, NOW that people are upset that there is no such option the trolls come out in force and expect us to believe that Bioware did it for "Majority purposes", to "sell more to mainstream".  That's a downright lie and is only meant t insight rage in the posters of these threads (which is working). 

The reasons for Biowares decision to not include a f/f LI presented in this thread are beyond the pale and are perfect examples of individuals grasping at straws with horrendous logical fallacies as their backup.  Pathetic...

The fishtank won't make more money. Having THREE hetero romances per gender won't make more money. Making the game whatever % longer than the original ME won't make more money! But they all cost money to implement, from small amounts to tonnes.

Because i know for a fact that some people wont buy the game because of th lack of F/F romance. But if they added F/F romance some ppeople would buy the game because they didnt buy it for the lack of F/F

OK how do you explain Garrus then?  Garrus is now a FemShep LI, as is Thane. 

The point is, there are no romanceable Asari like in the first game....despite having an Asari as a team member.

Huh, I don't see any reason M/M couldn't work in ME personally.

I'm a hetero guy, born, raised, and living in Ohio who plays my fair share of shooters, watches at least 3 NFL games a week during the regular season, drinks beer, and would probably play a M/M romance out in a playthrough of ME1, 2, or 3 just to see what they did with it.

I guess I must be secretly gay or something, I shoulda known there was something wrong w/ me when I figured out that I couldn't stand NASCAR. Maybe it was those 5 year I spent in the Bay Area as a young adult.
