I liked it and did anyone here the voice of the Inquisitor? Was that the American voice?
Samantha Traynor ? Or the Male?

Can you actually play the game before crying about it?
If you'll pay for my copy?
Sorry, this is just an argument that annoys me. The game isn't free, that means you need to make a judgement before playing.
Of course it's a bit early. Though cancelling your pre-order is never a bad idea, unless you've already paid a deposit or something. Or you really want the collector's edition swag, I guess.
As I said in another thread: I was not impressed by the short combat video with the Dragon. At all. The moaning noises were annoying and I couldn't tell who was supposed to be saying what, I couldn't see what was happening, and it ended as suddenly as it started. Not a very good way to sell your game, really.
Like suddenly showing us a clip of a random player in the middle of a battle. It's only really fun for the person playing.
It was just... ugly. Both to watch and to listen to. I'm trying to avoid watching it again.
Worth noting that I thought the rest of the stuff was fine, I just really didn't like the combat video.
Its a different game... Quit crying about DA2 it's getting old.
Points to a pattern.
I don't have pre-order to cancel because of DA2.
It reminds me a little of Dragon's Dogma, I like that.
I really like the animations for archery, and the fact the camera was over Sera's shoulder, it makes it feel more involved.
It was quite chaotic, so I'm mostly just looking at the animations/moves.
I thought it looked pretty cool; the only thing I didn't care for were the health bars. While the UI for the abilities looks a little strange to me, it looks the same in essentials, and I LOVE how good the ability icons look.
I think we all have to remember that this was meant to be just a glimpse. It was a 1:00 fragment of a huge, likely difficult fight with a dragon. I suspect we will see more methodical gameplay in upcoming demos.

A bit, but if it was DD you could ride the Dragon.
I bet 30 percent of the achievements\trophies will be multiplayer ones.

Who says we can't?
UI needs work. There should be some kind of camera movement when switching between party members, I found the instant transitions pretty disorienting. Don't see the point in "showcasing" the companion voices when most of it is combat grunts.
Other then that, looks fine. I can't really critique anything else until we get a more in-depth look at combat mechanics, tactics, and how the abilities work.

The trailer.
Just great
.
Didn't know if you noticed but when the dragon lost one of his pawn he started to limp on that side.
Not too pleased with the gameplay but we have more stuff coming in tomorrow. Hopefully it's a 30 minute continuous gameplay with exploration instead of the 1 minute fight they showed today.
The trailers all looked excellent though.
true so true
The health bar is ugly as sin. DAO's was better. Simple & elegant, useful. I don't understand why they changed it to that in DA2 an will keep it for DAI.
I'd be interested to see more about the healing system. The party healed several times, but it didn't look like Vivienne was healing them. Would like to know what was going on there.
Of course they might just have turned on infinite health for the the demo.
Youtube labeled it as multiplayer combat. Nearly had a heart attack ![]()
So we're back to portraits being art, rather than screenshots? Cool
I guess the segments in the party health bars mean something?
UI might be only placeholder quality atm but atleast we finally saw and heard femquisitor.
Chop your axe to the ground....people around it are sent flying. Yeah. DA2 combat is back.
Well, at least it's not far off from being able to knock people back by yelling.

Because it was the same for all caharcters. With the DA2 model, you can tell the relative HP characters have to each other.
DAO´s model must be one of those things that are really complicated for the average player.
