I used the hammerhead and mako like I play Elder Scrolls games. Find the terrain exploit, then exploit it.
Mass Effect "4" - sequel (indirectly) confirmed by Casey Hudson.

ME2's main plot has absolutely no importance to the overarching plot of the series. One could jump directly from ME to ME3 and have very little surprises. The only question would be "Why is Shepard on trial," which is still a question even if one had played ME2.
The collectors were a threat to no one.

I believe the Hammerhead get less credit then it deserves. It had paper armor, but enough mobility to allow you to face enemies head on.
This is mostly true for enemies that fired slower moving rockets, but for turrets and geth that had rapid fire weapons, you can only face them head on for a few seconds at a time before they tear through you, because they track your movement too quickly to dodge them.
The collectors were a threat to no one.
I always assumed that the Collector plan was to launch Sovereign 2: Human Bugaloo. Of course, it all seems kind of weird since the reapers arrive anyway. I wonder if Harbinger would've hazed the new guy had the Collectors succeeded in building it.

The Mako was far too slow, shields took far too long to recharge, thresher maws could one-shot you, and the physics were crap.
The Hammerhead had no shields or armor meaning combat was very slow and cautious and the environment was not seamless when you exited the vehicle.
I never thought about it this way before, but good tactics in both vehicles are very similar. Both vehicles reward caution and long range.

What's up with the krogan having a lion's roar? It's around 1:08 in the video. I don't recall the krogan ever roaring before...
it appears that the krogan may have evolved, or it's a new krogan hybrid

Ok so I kind of am tired of hearing all the reasons why people are condemning this game from the get go. So ME3 ending pissed me off, and yes successful IP's tend to keep on pumping out more of the same rather than mix it up. I get it. From all the devs i've spoken with that worked on the ME3, I'm pretty sure they all got the message loud and clear too. Do they want to repeat that mistake? No. I'm pretty sure they are motivated to provide something better to make up for it.
You can trash Bioware all night for their mistakes or you can wake up and realize that every studio misreads their fan base from time to time and has slip ups. You can say that being bought out by EA has made them all "big businessy" or accept that the only way for them to make games means they have to stay in business...and sometimes your pipe dreams as a fan just aren't possible from a development standpoint because its hard to make a good game if you cant pay the electric bill. Producing a game of this scale is a pretty amazing thing.
I think they are falling victim of getting it 98% right and 2% wrong. The majority is soo good that the few mistakes they make stick out like a sore thumb. There are so many small details that went into making the ME franchise that really make the series, but are just taken for granted. Overall they raised the bar of what storytelling in a game could be and if they could do that once, they can do it again. Call me an uber fan boy for saying all this, but I personally think we've been spoiled as fans and need to appreciate what this could be rather than griping about how it wasn't perfect.
And no ME3's ending isn't the worst of all time. I couldn't even begin to list how many shitty games had shitty endings. It was just the one you had the highest hopes for and cared the most about.

You can also dodge machine gun fire by moving sideway.

I've done this, and even then, it doesn't take long until the alarm starts blaring. The worst offenders are the colossi, since they now have those energy bursts that follow, as well as rapid fire.

Shepard's character arc? Maybe putting together the events the characters finds him/herself in better but I shiver at the slightest thought of trying to define Shepard's character more, that should be up to the player, not like they tried to do in ME3
Yes, Shepard's character arc. They could have had other characters react to Shepard based upon how he/she treated them, and allow Shepard to react accordingly, and give the characters + or - attitudes toward Shepard. There would have to be more than two dialog choices, or more than three entirely different dialog choices. How could defining the character be up to the player? Shepard was like a nothing. As it was, Shepard had all the emotional range of a brick in ME2. It was an Arnold Schwartzenegger movie in video game form.
In ME3 they tried to give some range to the character, and that was good, but the writing was just so inconsistent. I think the dreams should have been cutscenes instead of interactive.

So, what? They canon'd Destroy? And I'm more disappointed that I don't see an N7 armor with b**b plates! This is why FemShep hardly got recognized until ME3.

To be frank, we don't know squat about the next game, other than that it'll have N7s, a krogan, and a wicked galaxy map. Oh, and it's moving forward.
Everything else right now is straight-up, trip-inducing speculation.

People are hoping that more gets revealed by tomorrow at the least. I really hope the krogan don't look like that in the final version.

BioWare is fine. For an EA dev actually, there one of the better ones. Now.... Dat DICE. Wow. They suck. HARD.
Anyway's, BioWare is alright. And so is Mass Effect. Shepard or not, I bet ME4 will be a decent game. I really wanted to see some gameplay and maybe some MP footage, but meh. I was okay with post ending destroy, **cough, cough** I mean "new setting" and Shepard **cough, cough** I mean new N7 "guy/Character". Sure.
But I really, really wanted to see gameplay dammit. And Multiplayer too. I've never seen a third person shooter in Frostbite, only scrub BattleDerp games.
I want to see if BioWare can unbreak that broken engine, lol.
And that may be worth the price of admission alone.
Anyway's, I pretty excited about ME4 to be honest.
But.... If we really want to speculate there's an old thread or two on the Glory Days of BSN. And a certain "idea" that does some speculating........
