Not sure what your point is. I actually just said that.

They'll listen to fan advice but they may or may not implement them, it could be for a variety of reason e.g. some fan suggestions sound good in theory but in practice it could be too difficult to make it work and thus they can't implement it or its not affordable in terms of resources.

I am a 'white knight' because I think there is a problem? You are basically saying that as a male I cannot be for more women in games without being labelled a white knight. That's a ****** poor argument and you know it. This is a complex issue and to reduce it to that is pathetic.

As to the rest of your points, I'm going to bed. I'll demolish them in the morning... but you do realise that having more women in games will not stop you from playing them, not will they stop playing whatever male fantasy role you want to play either?

White knight.. you have made me laugh, I'll give you that. Sometimes I feel very old at the age of 34; I supect that a lot of this is cultural too. In the UK we do not have such a rabid anti-women in games sentiment (like in engineering). Make of that as you will.

I'm sure you will.

Are you 13 or something? Are you actually old enough to be playing these games?

And I'm not sure what you are trying to say by posting that - am I supposed to be offended? Titillated? Bored? Saddened?

And this I find a very dangerous view, because it's reversed logic and it's getting close to censorship. Videogames are art and should not be institutionalized. Artists should be free to express the kind of art they want to express.

I believe in vote with your wallet. If you don't like something, don't buy it. Instead buy products do you agree with. But I guess i's something you're already doing by not buying The Witcher 3 because it doesn't offer you a female protagonist, which matters a great deal more to you than a good story with a good protagonist, so you settle with Dragon Age Inquisition instead. Personally I'd advice you to give The Witcher 3 a try anyway because while Geralt is a man, he's a great character with a lot of depth in a very mature and fleshed-out world.

Censorship? Inclusivity has nothing to with suppression, if anything, it encourages the opposite. Bioware censors nothing nor inhibits its aesthetic/gameplay/storytelling by providing a non-sexualized playable female character, or by portraying people of color, or same-sex relationships, etc.

I'm fresh out of university. When I am flush with money and spare time I'd love to play that game, believe me, but all Bioware games have the competitive edge with me right now  because so far I love their stories, their gameplay, their characters and lore, and that I can play as a chick.

You a white knight because you not only parrot the feminists and women, you even go as far as to bash your own gender in some of your post, marginalizing the problems our gender sometimes faces while at the same time putting the women on a pedestal. You're a white knight for worrying more about social justice and equality in games than actual quality in games.

And yeah, I'm sure you will "demolish" me completely. Slay the evil heretic on your white horse in your shining white armor, that surely will get you the princess. ;-)

You feel old at the age of 34? Haha, you're funny. You're actually quite young still. Young enough to still become a father if you aren't already, young enough to find yourself a potentially new hot girlfriend if your wife decides to take you to the cleaners and young enough to not have to worry about crap like the midlife crisis.

In the rest of the world we don't have such a rabit anti-women in games sentiment either. If you think such a sentiment is prominent outside of the UK or that the UK is any different from the USA or the rest of Europe you're seriously deluded.

It's always good pr to say 'we listen to fans', but they've never shown to do so.
