What I saw did not impress me. Yes, what we saw did look great, but that is almost granted with the frostbite engine. What I really want to know if the writers can actually deliver a game with a good story and interesting characters, and not completely **** everything up like they have now.
Both the DAI and ME4 presentation left me unimpressed to be honest.
Looks like we're gonna have to wait till February 2015 before we can play a good high-quality RPG. 2014 isn't gonna be it.

Did you all miss the fact that the "NEW IP" is also MASS EFFECT?
We don't just have this stand alone title coming... we have an entierly new series coming. Something I predicted a long time ago... And it will involve dealing with Saren and Sovereign.
The consept are shown towards the end looks like Eden Prime... though it could be anywhere. The galaxy is a big placed after all.

Purple is the ending we didn't get. Our choices don't matter. The Quarians repurposed the Reaper Code with Xen's Weapon and it acted like a flash bang on the Reapers allowing the Allied Fleet to mop up. EDI localized the source of the control signal and they used it on the Citadel and shorted out the Starbrat. The reapers on the planets all took off to help their bretheren in space and got wiped out.
But really, I was serious. Purple/Magenta may be important.
I found the E3 trailer annoying. Glad it's a sequel an not a prequel and all that, but it was vague to the point of not saying any more than "on't worry, we're moving forward." Their vague statements annoy me so much cause it reminds me of all the half assed explanations of the ME3 ending. Yes, I am still pissed about that. If ME4 doesn't explain the ME3 ending, and it better be a damn good explanation, I'm not buying it.

Sounds like set in some farflung corner of space, away from anything that might be linked to Shep trilogy. On paper that seems weak to me but i'll await more detail to be revealed.
