I'll say what I said in a different thread: if this is a sequel with a canonized ending, then I don't want to see hide or hair of Shepard and the rest of the Normandy crew. Let their stories end the way we chose to end them in ME3 so we can imagine this as a different version of the Mass Effect universe. Otherwise it would be "your choices don't really matter" turned up to 11, to quote Spinal Tap.

The Stargazer scene already confirms that all three branches arrive at a similar point in the future.

Your name will cause confusion. That your name is David really isn't helping here.
Not that you can do anything about that or anything ![]()

Aaryn didn't say anything about returning characters, just returning races take that as you wish.
Though if I see and hear a monotone Matriarch, I'll char the entire planet/station/ship/w/e.
Lol that galaxy map was so much cooler than we got
if they put that in the game, the frame-rate would tank, though it is a bit of false advertising.

Kinda agree, but....the question of the millennia...:
If it's set in future events after the Reaper war...which ending will be the canon one? Destroy? Control? Or Synthesis? Because depending of the choice, the ME universe would be QUITE different.
Then again, it should have been a hell of a lot different depending of if you saved the Collector base or not....and we all know how that turned out to be ¬¬

I mean, we don't even know that about Inquisition yet, and that's coming out in four months.
I want some reassurance from the writers that they have learned their lessons.
Both the DAI and ME4 presentation left me unimpressed to be honest.
Looks like we're gonna have to wait till February 2015 before we can play a good high-quality RPG. 2014 isn't gonna be it.
I am just waiting for Cyberpunk2077.

If thats the case. I won't get this game.
I probably was not going to if Mass Effect 4 anyway if the game wasn't going to be on the Xbox 360.
I simply refuse to get an Xbox One until it is made BC with 360 games.
Mass Effect 4 should also give Shepard and the characters we know and love a proper send off. What Mass Effect 3 failed to do.

So should the council decision in ME1 leading into ME2. BioWare's been doing this a long time now.

Priority: Earth had an entire "send-off" sequence, Citadel tripled down on the farewell notion, and there were plenty of epilogue slides in the EC.

Doesn't seem like it the E3 footage is to be believed. New region of space is what fans most wanted. Negative. A lot of fans like myself want a proper ending to the Mass Effect series and a better ending than what we got with Mass Effect 3. Even the EC wasn't enough to fix that mess, but it did fix about 30% of the problem.

Wasn't enough in my opinion and 4 of my nephews agree with me. Would have been better if the ending was like Dragon Age 1 where you are told what happened to races and characters based on your decisions throughout the trilogy and if the Indoctrination Theory was made canon.

It's not going to happen.
Then I'm not buying Mass Effect 4 or any future Mass Effect game, book or comic. That's how I feel as a Mass Effect fan. Unhappy.
