where does that bull come from? I wonder at times if it wrong to be a consoler

There has been a resentment of consoles by PC players ever since cross-platform development became possible with the first Xbox, because the consoles' hardware limitations combined with cross-platform development often resulted in desirable features - even existing features - being removed or left unimplemented in PC versions of games. For instance, in the early days, when consoles were played with low-definition TVs, visual features had to have a certain mimum size, which made intricate graphics impossible and interface elements large and clunky. In addition, the consoles' limited RAM meant smaller areas, and these two effects add up in a very annoying way. You can see this effect in the difference between BG2 and KotOR, and even more drastically in the difference between Deux Ex 1 and DX:Invisible War or between Thief 2 and Thief: Deadly Shadows. Things have improved signficantly since then as developers got better at doing cross-platform development while keeping some platform-specific elements but it's still a problem here and there. It might become a non-issue in the near future since the new consoles aren't as limited any more compared with standard PC gaming hardware and games like DAI make PC-specific interfaces, but old attitudes die hard.

Thats why companies like Microsoft can get away with it, because of "what's one month? no big deal, we should wait and not complain."

If everyone who preordered on PS4 and PC would cancel their preorder we would get an annoucement next day from EA apologizing and we'd all get the content on the same day.

I don't know if I'm overreacting, but that announcment about timed exclusive DLC made me extremely disappointed in Bioware despite my love for the series and the great footage at the conference.

I thought that after the Skyrim mess up no one would make such a backhanded deal with microsoft again, especially now that no one cares about Xbox any more.

*sigh* I needed to vent. Sorry if you use Xbox, I have nothing against it. I just hope I won't have to wait half a f'ing year just because I chose to play the game on PC.

Wait, WHAT?!?!!??? after reading some BW posts, I realize this is actually true... I don't have anything against Xbox users, (or any console for that matter), but this is short from ....... (not going to degrade myself to type out what I am thinking right now) from whoever decided this would be a nice move... I was disappointed when I learned there would be an limit of 8 to the spells you are able to access at any given time, and now this. I think this is even more disappointing than the actionbar limit.

Why on earth do I have to wait for DLC just because I don't own an Xbox? I'm sorry BioWare (no actually I'm not) but this is something you should never let happened in my opinion. One more of this kind of announcement and I'm signing in on Origin and cancel my pre-order.

I was really exited for the game, and looked forward to get it and play it, I even thought about taking a day of just to be able to play it at my hearts content.

The only thing I'm thinking of now is to keep my pre-order booked, or just forget about the d**n thing and move on to other games/developers. I know that your influence in this is, to a point, limited, but this is just not nice from a company who used to be all about sharing their awesome story's with >>everyone<< .

The only thing I'm hoping for is that it's not an story DLC and 'just' some kind of cosmetic/armor like DLC. All this above is with the thought that is a story DLC.

TL;DR;

Really disappointed, and thinking (also because of other announcements) of canceling the pre-order en leaving the franchise for good to be forgotten by me.

wow thats pretty crappy imo but fifa is a sports game with little plot so that amount is understandable

But 6hrs seem like serious spoilers
