I'm partly at fault, I kinda created that thread title in a rush and am too moronic to know how to edit the damn thing.

 

Go to Edit in the first post then click the full editor button that should allow you to edit the title.

For clarification, I want the game and haven't cancelled anything. I just believe the business practice is asinine and I do not fault anyone that wanted to go to the lengths of not purchasing.

Christ, going by some peoples reactions you'd think they said the whole game was Xbox exclusive for the first 30 days.
Is waiting a month to possibly ride on a slightly different mount a worthy offence to suddenly decide not to buy?
I swear people complain just for the sake of complaining. Sounds so overly dramatic to cancel a pre-order or decide not to buy the game over something so incredibly minor.

To minimize/shame how another person feels over a completely true slight to them as a customer just because you don't feel slighted is silly.

Heh, I would live with the latter. Getting a weapon pack late would be preferable to anything with actual substance.

In other news, Battlefield Hardline beta is exclusive to PS4 on the console front. As I previously said this is nothing new.

Heard it might be Premium Exclusives and not timed, hence no arrival on other platforms, which is worse.

Now I might not have as been as upset if this had been on Playstation 4 or PC as I have plan on buying the game on either.. but I would still find it incredibly annoying that there would be timed or premium Exclusives or just exclusives in general. Sod on that.

I believe it was confirmed by Microsoft to be the first piece of story content.

I'm probably still going to buy the PS4 version.

I'm sad, but I never said I'm sad enough to cancel pre-order.  I'll save that reaction for later in the conference when they reveal MP and let slip that you have to play MP to get the purple-lyrium ending, but you can still get orange-lyrium and yellow-lyrium endings playing only SP.

Yep. It's an industry wide issue. I've said the same things about Sony before elsewhere too.

It's timed exclusivity, not exclusive content. See: Call of Duty on Xbox.

Its not the fact that ill eventually get it, its the fact that even tho i spent the same amount of money as some players on a different console , i have to wait for what they get sooner. It doesn't seem that fair to me.  But then again, i don't really buy DLC because for one internet sucks, for another i love physical copies of things. So ill just buy the game again when it comes out with DLC included like DAO did.  but still unfair for others.

That's probably because they're more interested in stress testing the PSN than Xbox Live because Microsoft's server farms reduce the chances of problems happening.
