Both Sony and MS do it all the time these days. Welcome to the console wars.

Its not even a war at this point, it's just Microsoft doing small skirmishes against ps4.

Lets not do the whole vs thing and just all agree that xbox is not doing well and mircosoft loves throwing money around and at problems instead of looking into their problems.

It better not be much more then a few armors, because thats just absurd.

I wont play their little marketing game. I purchase the deluxe edition, only to not receive the full amount of content?

Well, then, I'll cancel my preorder and buy the game used, so they receive no money from me.

I'm still going to play this on the PS4. But it's just disappointing because I never saw Bioware picking sides after joining EA.

EA is responsible for bringing Mass Effect to the PC and the PS3.  Until DAO, I don't believe BioWare had ever made a game for a Sony console either, and I believe it was because of EA encouraging console versions of the game.

Has there ever been a Bioware game on Sony consoles before EA?

With respect, that fact doesn't give me any bonus content any sooner.

Nope it doesn't.  But I felt the need to step in and clarify the statement that I quoted, since I felt the poster was mistaken.

I understand. You are not to blame, and I shouldn't take out any frustration on you.

If i may ask then, how may I and other Fans make our displeasure known in a way that would be productive?

Make multiple topics, each angrier than the last, and don't forget the cursing!

If only that sort of thing actually worked.

Tweeting the senior staff would be a decent start.  Finding various feedback emails.  This thread's existence is one of them.  Remain civil... making multiple topics with increasing hostility and excessive cursing will probably do a better job of silencing your voice (and making them fall on deaf ears).  But I have a sneaking suspicion that that suggesting was made in jest :P

As much as I claim to enjoy feasting on fan tears and being sassy, at times I consider myself somewhat empathetic and can understand the perception it gives off and the frustration that comes with it.

This is utterly inexcusable, anti-consumer behavior.

Having to wait an extra month to get DLC? Time to get my rant on.

Out of curiosity, would there be so much outrage if it was the other way round?

I have been reading the various forums now for quite a few years and when some game or goodies are only exclusive to the PC or the PS the respecting owner just keep on gloating and make fun of the Xbox owners, but when we get something there's immediate outrage and multiple threads are open.

Just wondering...

While I'm not a fan of the practice It does not get me seething or anything. Only moneyhatting games as a whole does that. It would probably not since the number of PS4 owners is higher.

It does add to reasons not to buy the game on day one, or not to pre-order. But not alone.

ME 1 was released on X-Box months before it came out on PC. KotOR was the other way around.

Each time, there was much outrage and gnashing of teeth.

KOTOR came out for XBox first actually.

I was there for that (as a fan).  I probably even contributed to it! XD

First world problems.

You can´t get everything you want at the moment you want. Unless you have the money to fork over, so pay up for an xbox or wait like everyone else.

Hey Allan,

I just wanted to take a second to thank you for responding to fan feedback on this issue. I know developers deal with complaints often enough that it can become tiresome. I normally don't like to add to that pile. But seeing something I care about turned into a marketing tool for Microsoft stings. It's nice to know there's at least a few people at Bioware that understand where we're coming from.
