So, I've been trying to find images of an... illusive figure that I stumbled into last year but didn't post about.  It's a robed figure with a silhouette similar to The Architect's or Corypheus with the addition of what appears to be spider/insect legs sprouting from its back.  It's in the new trailer at beginning at :50 in, standing in the background behind what appears to be a Rift the Inquisitor is... Well, struggling against.

 

Is this illusive figure our Antagonist?

It looks like one of the demons revealed in one of the older trailers. Y'know, the one where the veil splits open and all the badies are being showcased (including a red lyrium behemoth).

Too obvious in my opinion. I think it will a unique form of demon, but not the big bad. A higher ranking underling most likely.

New form of demon most likely. I don't think the antagonist is going to be released before launch. I think it's going to be someone we've "met" before and it will be a huge shock when we realise who it is.

we've seen multiple pics with the fear demon in them, its at least a high ranking enemy, but i highly doubt that it will be the main antagonist....  this thing reminds me of the aliens from "alien," scary looking, but not intelligent enough to speak or concoct elaborate complicated plans which is what our main antagonist has been doing
