- Animations look really clunky, is the games FPS locked on consoles?

- ''Futuristic'' character and party member portraits, and UI, looks really bad.
- Combat risks becoming a rollfest unless there's a cooldown on rolling.

- During the dragon combat footage, the party members were constantly screaming (very loudly, at that), and it felt like there was alot of sound missing, for example half the time Sera was shooting arrows from her bow, there was absolutely no sound at all, some of the sounds also seemed to not mix very well and it felt like everything was very low quality. The entire teaser just felt very strange.

- Too many too different and extremely bright colours on screen at the same time at all times, atleast during the dragon combat footage that we saw, on top of that the sky was extremely dark and this resulted in a really weird (and in my opinion bad looking) atmosphere.

- Xbox One EXCLUSIVE and PREMIERE content, SERIOUSLY..?

Will (hopefully not) add more later when we see gameplay today.

I know you cant satisfy everyone but dear god, these complaints are getting out of hand.

Half of them have been said as if they've played the game to justify these opinions.

I totally agree. Plus, everyone seems to be ignoring the fact that the clip shown wasn't a continuous fight in real time--it was different parts of the fight edited together so of course it looked clunky. Plus this is nowhere near a finished product--this isn't even a Beta version of the fight yet. The UI will no doubt change in some way and as far as the sky goes towards the end of the footage there's green light in the sky so no doubt the Veil being torn affects the weather.

Exactly, some of the complaints are just out of the own persons failure to recognize they're wrong. One example being how this person complained about the sera's bow making no noise, it actually does very clearly make a sound and can be heard in other videos as well, that complaint was made for the sake of making the list longer

I loved almost everything about the dragon combat we were shown! The flips, all the magic! I also liked how all the party members seemed to really be working together, calling out when they needed help or where there was an opening for someone.

I just wish they didn't change the UI, I don't really like the new one, its far too bright against the more neutral colors of the game, the one from pax prime blended in with the game and style far better than this one.

Maybe we can choose which we like?..... (hoping?)

I loved everything! EVERYTHING!!!

Well okay I do have one teensy comment, regarding one of the trailers.

I thought Vivienne's face (at around the :50 mark), while gorgeous, looked kind of dead. Maybe it's the fact that she doesn't blink or something. I guess for current gen I was expecting something more along the lines of Last of Us facial expressions. Of course I know that that game was all motion capture, so that makes a huge difference.

Honestly though I don't even care at this point. I'm one happy camper.

I agree with the OP.

We were expecting something great.

Forgive me for taking The Witcher 3 as an example here, but look at the incredible gameplay footage they showed for a game that is still 8 months away from release!

DAI is a little over 3 months from release and this is the best they had to show? Well, then we have to assume that is the quality of the game, no? In which case I would back away slowly....

For a fantasy RPG, the UI.....totally sucks! This is the worst RPG UI I have seen in many years. Wow...someone really don't have a clue and that is worrying.

UI is an important part of a RPG, people!

I'm seriously disappointed in what they've shown us so far. Looks like they just don't take any pride in what they are making....even now.

I was expecting a massive WOW trailer. This was not it.

Expecting something great after ME3 and DA2 is not logical. Once you factor in that the game is cross-gen not next gen, that becomes more the case.

Witcher3 is next gen and yes it blows DA:I away. But it's still a different sort of game.

I'm not impressed myself, but I never had high expectations to start with,so I'm not exactly drowning in disappointment either. The timed exclusive thing gives me less reason to buy on day one so by the time I do get around to buying (if) it should have been thoroughly vetted by the wider gaming populace.

No longer a pre-order or even a day 1 purchase for me either.

I'd take a look at this, especially the last 10 minutes. Not really changed my mind, but made me a bit more optimistic about the games combat.

First 15-20 minutes are kind of boring, so be warned.

Thanks to Gtdef for the original posting.

The weapon sound effects really need to be amplified. Couldn't hear any swords, dagger or bow sounds.

E3 is noisy and you can't really have the volume too loud because there are a lot of demonstrations going on. Hopefully Bioware will post something that is not offscreen now that the game has been revealed. Quality of that should be better too.

I know this is alpha now but there is still allot they are still adding (or should be) voice acting, graphics improvements, minor touches. It won't fix the combat but that was only a few seconds of it that we saw.

People miss details like that being so desperate to be able to claim the ribbon for "I hated it first, how cool am I?"

Watch the Dragon's Health Bar (Primary one), It fluctuates all over the place through the entire fight, which is an obvious indicator this isn't a linear clip.

As for the Witcher, I've got to just say I wasn't all that impressed with it's showing.

1- Laughably empty world, That'll be fun traveling with almost no combat outside of scripted crap like "Rescue the Wench".

2- Poor animations. Watching the Griffon fight, look how sloppily the sword animations are strung together, to say nothing of the poor transitional animations to the crossbow and fire spells.

3- Visual Downgrade. This is definitely not the game we were first shown, with lower resolution textures, poor AA and almost a complete lack of AO. XBox1 is Xbox1 but since when is CDProjekt so concerned with showing a sub-par product visually?

4- Mid Battle Cutscenes Wowy Wow so dramatic, let's take control away from the player because they're incapable of making their own awesome moments in a game.

If this is what CDprojekt RED thought was worthy of showing at the most televised press event in the world, The Witcher Series is going to Metascore under "Mediocre" RPGs like The Elder Scrolls and DA:O. (Again)

Yeah, I really hope that wasn't actually from the game, because if that happened during a game I was playing I would be pissed.

"Alright, a long, epic battle tracking a griffon through a forest... and wham Geralt kills it without me offscreen."

1. I didn't notice anything like this, and they were probably displaying it using a high end PC anyway.
2. It's a pre-beta demo. Relax.
3. As everyone and their mother has pointed out, that demo was multiple different parts of a battle spliced together, that's why it looked like there was so much rolling.

4. Blah blah blah not a continuous clip blah blah blah pre-beta blah blah blah obviously made the game noisy-er for E3 blah blah blah
5. Ok.

6. It's the first DLC the game has only, and it's a one month timed exclusive, not actually exclusive.

Yes I know exactly what FPS is. You on the other hand are probably one of those retards who thinks ''the human eye can't see more than 30 lol''.

Oh I'm so, so sorry for raising concern over a game I might possibly spend my money on. You do realise they show us this footage in order to affect us to buy it? Just because I'm not one of those sad sods who go like: ''Omg xDxDxD<33333333'' when they show us an extremely cringeworthy and cheesy ''Companion trailer'', doesn't mean I will not look at other things they show us in order to provide them with FEEDBACK on the FEEDBACK FORUMS.

Viviennes face looks weird because she has eye colour that is impossible for her 'human race'. She has blue eyes but she is supposed to represent an african.

O quite liked it. If anything it was a bit too obvious, especially the part where they show the warrior, rogue and mage attacking the dragon, it's like "Look we have 3 distinct classes". But that's it.

I like blue eyed Viv unnatural and otherworldly.

I personally didn't like it.

Wait for it................. It looks unrealistic, and yes I know it's a fantasy game but even fantasy games are based on a certain level of realism.

That why I liked it, that it was not realistic. She's a mage and it makes her look unnatural and not 100% human.
