A High Dragon is a High Dragon, they never named a dragon by its region before. The Origins one was not "Sacred Ashes' Temple" with a health bar on it, that would look stupid, just as Ferelden Frostback sounds stupid. You should count yourself on the herp derp train along with Bioware if you think that actually makes sense. Sigh.... hipsters.

That's cute.

I'm not sure what's more laughable; that you think your ad hominem attack constitutes an actual point, or that you're seemingly incapable of grasping the arbitrary nature of names in general. Bioware is under no obligation to conform to your approved naming scheme. They could call a dragon anything they want, because like you said, a High Dragon is a High Dragon, regardless of what they call it. As for what little ground you can argue from, it's just a classic example of composition/division. A form of logical fallacy in debate. That doesn't invalidate your opinion necessarily, it just shows your opinion is made of spit and twigs.

The dragon's name is literally the same as "Ferelden Frostback" mountains. It's not even a "Frostback High Dragon", that's why I mentioned the "Sacred ashes temple" example. But that flew over your head didn't it? It was just "Ferelden Frostback", which was what I had a problem with.

There are now different species/breeds of dragon that vary by (I assume) region.
"Fereldan Frostback" is a dragon species native to Ferelden, including (again, I assume) the Frostback Mountains.
I asked BioWare designer Josh Stiksma (sorry if I butchered your name there!) for clarification on Twitter and he confirmed that high dragons and their dragonling offspring will look different depending on breed, as well as having other varying characteristics, such as lightning breath!
