So, I am using this build and I want to use it like that to have good melee damage.

http://kalence.drupa...23556383!5F659H

I find the crusader good for everything except the weight (7.62s cooldown on warp is a bit long and weight glitch isn't reliable off host), since it can be equipped with the omni blade, doesn't need smart choke and provides more than 1m penetration with armor piercing mod for boss triple hit. I can give up the boss triple hit, but can that be traded to have some other weapon which gives better cooldown while keeping same melee damage?

Or some melee damage can be sacrificed and I am better off using regular blade rather than omni blade? Suggestions?

No, not the Reetard Carbine lol. Then I would pretty much play the gun. As for Piranha, it's crap without smart choke. Better off using Wraith (which I was using before crusader on this guy).

Venom?
Venom!
Venom.

Or take the hit to melee and go with Talon?

1. Venom with omni-blade - warp + shock wave for bosses, venom shots to stagger + melee for mooks.

2. Revenant - Don't ask me why, I just like it on the shaman who can afford to get in CQC range and counter the poor accuracy of the gun.

Well, Venom with melee blade, Graal with melee blade give 90% bonus. I would pick graal over venom to do more damage to bosses.

This. Or you can go with the Wraith since you get the weight glitch and its super duper light. Raider is pretty badass on him as well, especially with Warp Ammo biotic damage bonus, and also gets the weight glitch IIRC. Outside of that, the Piranha works. As does the Graal. Has to be a shotgun though, because Krogan.

If you primed multiple targets with Incendiary Ammo via a charged Venom shot, would detonating your Barrier amidst them set off multiple Rank 7 Tech Bursts? (Assuming Barrier all the way to 6)

Eagle, looks funny on a Krogan. No points in passive. Focus on tankiness and biotic expolsions.

IDk, I would rate venom much higher than graal. AoE priming and stagger, and much friendlier off-host behavior always give venom the edge for me. The only advantage graal has vs. bosses is the headshot bonus of 1.4x but with BEs, warp debuff etc, I am not sure how much it matters.

If graal is your personal pick over venom, go for it. Nothing's stopping you. ;)

PPR with AP or Warp or Cheeze rounds. Swap barrel/piercing depending on ammo.
Warp-lazor-shockwave-done.

Graal feels better for melee builds IMO. Venom otherwise for non melee setups because...it's the venom.

(The melee setup is also equally fun, friends! *winkwinknudgenudge*)

Guess I am one of the few who prefer venom over graal for melee set-ups. Venom lets me get away with less accurate aim and staggers a huge group letting me close in and melee everything to death :P

I prefer graal when I feel like blowing some heads off. ;)

If you wanna melee.. Revenant w/ Omniblade and HVB or piercing mod (depending on if you wanna risk sacrificing your cooldown).

Warp, hipfire spray while closing the gap, melee or shockwave. Bosses get the same treatment. Don't aim down the sight.. just hipfire it.. it rips 'em up real good.. and provides a very nice cooldown.

If you need to shoot long range with it out of a hack circle or something.. take hard cover.

I know the gun has a bad rep here on BSN.. but try it. Surely.. Megabeast and NightSlasher can't both be wrong :)

Yeah the PPR would work.. but it would be the same result as playing the Reegar.. you'd be a Warp/Shoot weapon platform. No point in melee then.. no point in shockwaving anything but bosses bc PPR melts them outright. You'd sacrifice the soul of the Krogan Shaman..

I don't use shotguns, assault rifles, or sniper rifles(I'm thinking about it)on him. I run a 6/6/6/4/4 build which is power based ONLY. I don't like the long cooldowns on him, and Barrier doesn't help either, but he's more durable with it.

You do know you can, y'know, leave Barrier turned off... right?

I want that sweet 15% shield regen at all times tho...

Honestly.. with his carry capacity, I don't have any cooldown issues with him.. and I take 6a in passives. I think the HVB Wraith is at like 170%-190% or something. But then Barrier drops it down again.. unless you weight glitch, then it evens out. Still.. Revenant is way cooler.. and still dominates.

I spec out of barrier nowadays, unless I am running a barrier detonation build. I much prefer the 06666 build.

Oh yeah, that recent video of yours he had no barrier.
