I spec out of barrier nowadays, unless I am running a barrier detonation build. I much prefer the 06666 build.
But.. but.. floating abominations off Condor is so satisfying!

Like I got Shaman + Disciple in the randomizer today and had a blast.
And I realized that the disciple is srsly not that bad
He's a krogan adept. That just screams Wraith.
Get a Graal and Acolyte and fight with Barrier. Defense is the best offense
Graal spike thrower.
Geth Spitfire or your a pyjak. ... Wish mine wasn't only at a lousy level 5 or I'd try that. >_< (The Geth Spitfire must be at maximum killing potential otherwise it drives me crazy!! ... Plus it weighs way too much for a Krogan Shaman at only level 5.
)
I use Striker and detonate ammo priming with warp or shockwave. Phantoms should fear my Shaman.
Hmmmm....I wonder....
scimitar and wraith are what i usually use for him.

Weapon for a Krogan? Wut.?
Apply forehead to problem, repeat until problem ceases to be problematic. It's the true and only Krogan way.

I use this strategy too, but I use the falcon. It's lighter and feels more controllable than the Striker, plus, I think it has a larger radius
Yeah this buil looks good to. Especially considering that console players are afraid of Striker.

And why would console players be afraid of striker??
Graal on host, wraith off host.
Probably a shotgun if you are going for big melee. When i play that class I often go with the Talon, still packs a serious punch and keeps the cooldowns low.
If you primed multiple targets with Incendiary Ammo via a charged Venom shot, would detonating your Barrier amidst them set off multiple Rank 7 Tech Bursts? (Assuming Barrier all the way to 6)
It should, FE's can be detonated by any direct damage power.

Detonating Barrier against a group of primed enemies will detonate a fire explosion, but only one. You can't get multiple explosions if the primed enemies are all within the detonating power's area of effect.
Corlist explains it better here.
Graal or GPS. I don't really care about off-host or on-host. The GPS gives you almost no problems off-host, and if you're going melee, you aren't going to notice the projectile travel time on the Graal most of the time anyway. Really, the only problem the Graal gives me off-host is that it occasionally fires blanks. You get a charged headshot on a point-blank range enemy, and it does nothing. Of course, unless it's a Phantom, you can just follow up with a pimp slap or Shockwave or Barrier detonation. If it is a Phantom.... well, Spectator Mode can be fun.
EDIT: Both of these guns can use the weight glitch for the Omni-Blade, and neither of them need a choke.

Not claiming anything other than general impressions, but it seems to me that although charged shots sometimes blank-fire, uncharged shots generally do not. And the difference between charged and uncharged is not that great for the Graal, is it?
Actually your shots do double the damage when charged ![]()
Actually your shots do double the damage when charged
That means you can do more damage by not charging, since uncharged fire is at least twice as rapid.
