Well that sucks, rocked up just in time to see Lords of the Fallen but not soon enough to see Bloodborne, I miss anything good?

Just mere seconds of gameplay
I know it's likely still in early alpha, but I hope to god they fix that tearing issue before launch. I don't want another Dark Souls 2 console incident where the game tears like crazy.
-----
I'm really excited to see how this plays out, outside of the Arkham Knight gameplay this is hands down the most exciting thing to come out of E3. I really love the idea of the setting and I hope the game keeps a very depressing atmosphere.
If this ends up being half as good as it looks, this will definitely be the console pusher that Sony needs.

I thought Victorian Era was the new fad in game development these days? I mean you already got Dishonored and Thief, throw in Amnesia, a couple of Sherlock games and the Order 1886 which also seems to feature Werewolves! (though not sure about undead)
Okay then: one game, one game series and a yet to be released game. And that's what in comparison to the innumerable Afghan-war, medieval and modern-day based game settings? Last time I looked, Amensia and Sherlock aren't RPG's. There's only one RPG out there that I can think of with a Victorian-style setting and that's Arcanum which released more than a decade back.
Thief also belongs to a series that started 16 years ago whilst the Sherlock series started 12 years back. So since then we've only had Amnesia and Dishonored (and the upcoming Order 1886). I'd say, based on that, that the Victorian setting is not a new fad in game development because very few games feature it and most developers haven't even touched it.
Combat looks faster paced than the Souls series but that's not a bad thing if you ask me. I'm confident it won't feel like Demon's Souls 1.5 based on this footage. Asides from some re-used sound assets, it looks like gameplay might be heading in a different direction with its emphasis on dual wielding and no blocking. At one point we see the character leap to the side to dodge as opposed to rolling, the leaping actually looked cool too.

A gameplay video got leaked, then pulled down, but there's a few GIFs that impress:
It got taken down... on Youtube
Here's a webm for those interested
Also, do take note that this trailer is almost a year old and the current version of the game looks rather different

Miyazaki went into more verbal detail about the setting and lore:
-19th century, Victorian era. City is in a remote mountainous region far away from civilization, and the indigenous faith have given way to predudice
-epidemic called 'plague of the beast'
-every night, the bleary-eyed, confused citizens of Yharnam wander the city perfoming the 'beast hunt'. The streets reek of blood, beasts and death. (the bell charm from the old leaked trailer looks like it signifies the start of it).

PS4 has 2 Victorian era games on the way, why is that happening? Is there a lot of goth kids getting PS4 for X-mas this year or something?

And apparently it'll release in around six months time so that's around Q1 2015.

Still getting a massive Castlevania vibe from this and that's great. The visuals look stunning.

Regain is a unique and appropriate feature(which likely has a lore-based justification). I'm glad they're making patrolling NPCs now versus monsters that just...stand around. o.O
I get the feeling it's going to feel a bit more like God of War/Devil May Cry with the aggressive take on combat.

Some fans might be pissed off with Bloodborne from that video but From Software is doing a good thing by not shackling themselves down to that "you're going to die many times and NEED to die in the game for it to be considered good and challenging" crap. This is clearly a new approach they're taking to their RPG's where it's now faster paced. It looks like Dark Souls mixed with DmC. The combat speed is similar to what Dragon's Dogma did and for me, this looks like it's giving new life to From's RPG's.
Also, it doesn't even need to be challenging. It's not a Souls game. It just needs to be good and it looks that way judging from the video. The combat looks very solid and I like how you can change to different weapon styles on the fly.
2015 is going to be a great year.
