It's all concepts, none of that is guaranteed to be in the game.
Where the guys from CSI? They probably can tell the release date already!
(squints)
Yeah, that's a salarian, and probably a turian.
I just managed to extract this rather blurry image, sorry for that.
But to me, the left figure looks human and the right one somewhat Quarian. The legs are bend in the typical shape and it seems to have a helmet/mask-thingy...

Watch this video while thinking they're going to make an MMO.
What is wrong with me.... listening to some of this made me vomit a bit in my mouth. And not the good kind
There is no good kind ^^
Good for BioWare though! They have ideas and ambitions. Also graphics look sweet.

Looks more like a helmeted Salarian to me.
That's another option, true...
What also interested me: The figure on the right uses an omni-tool, but what is the figure on the right using? It also looks like some holo-tool.

2 minutes of hot air and a whole bunch of PR talk-a-lot-but-say-nothing nonsense. What a waste of time.

I really don't know why they even bothered showing that. Thing was worthless.
It's my speculations about ME4 E3 trailer.
1. Some part of face (asari?)
2. Some character in "galaxy 3D map screen"
3. Part of ship (name) and two characters (I think it's Salarians)
4. "New" Krogan (mutated?) BTW. roar like Yahg (Shadow Broker)
5. Some signs (need decrypted) T7 ? new rank?

It could appear that way at first glance but it has generated a fair bit of speculation. I do wish they would reveal the setting and basic premise in terms of relationship to the previous games. I also want to know whether we can play as non-humans.
But as I say, it generated quite a bit of speculation. Was that planned or are we reading too much into obscure images in the background?
Good find, OP. Thanks.

Of course it was. This is BioWare we're talking about. It would have been exceptionally easy for them to divulge a few bits of key information: the title, the setting, and the time period. They didn't, but they showed images with bits for fans to scrutinize---N7 stripe on bulky armor, a krogan that's not very krogan, a warped galaxy map, and some figures that look like a salarian and a turian at a crash site---in an effort to piece together some vague possible answer.

Not to be cynical, but I'm pretty sure it was all just trailer-material concept imagery, a display of engine capability. The likelihood of each of these obscure images of having importance in the final product isn't high.
Do we know that the pyramids are an in-engine environment and not a real-world shot of buildings at or near the Montreal offices where the game is being developed?
I think I've seen that place in pictures of Montreal, and the image had too many imperfections for me to think it is CGI.

Thx for these! #1 is definitely just some human male.#5, the first one is TX 03 I think, rest too blurry. Doesnt' seem like it's gonna tell us anything, may be totally random number just to add to armor's visual design

Some of that is as-is work in progress in-engine stuff. Some of it technical tests for capability, some of it actual work.

The plot thickens.
I don't think any of those assets means anything right now. They just testing the engine they got. Looking at the limits. And im more that sure that most of this stuff was created specifically for E3, just to show fans that they are busy. At this point they are at 'desk' stage of planning. I don't think any of those assets will made it into even alpha build.
Well, but even this scrap is something. Look at the Last Guardian fans - they are being kept bling for... how long is it now?
