Ok!
Then I know.
It kind of figures, easier to write him/her that way.

A true Qunari PC wouldn't work. As players, we don't have enough information on the Qun to roleplay it correctly.

Which, on that note, I'm pleased that she seems to be towering over mustache guy. I was worried they were gonna cut down female Qunari to around human-size.
That's what I'm mostly relieved about too.

I like what I'm seeing so far.
I was worried that the female Qunari would be too 'soft', but she looks fierce and tough.
And really tall! ![]()

Her skin look a bit too human-like for me, though. Hopefully the CC lets us make a gray qunari, along with a variety of other skin colors.

She reminds me a bit of Tim Curry from "Legend". I can`t wait to create my own Qunari ![]()

I think it's been confirmed that we can. Also we can apparently have any hair colour which I find rather odd, I wanted verity but I would have been happy with like, black white, grey, silver or something. I guess it's good that players aren't being restricted though.
Her skin kinda reminds me of Rasaan

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. I'm so glad they didn't take the easy route and kept the ladies tall and broad-shouldered.
Give me the option to hit Sten's warmer/darker skin tone in the CC and I'll be ecstatic. First playthrough is going to be great ![]()

I'm sorry if I stray off topic here (LOVE her design btw), but what do think about the qunari personalities?
I think, at least if this is supposed to be a qunari raised within the Qun that there should be some limitations towards possible answers (or a completely different dialouge at all) and the same with romances.
I am not at all "racist" agains the Qunari; I would love to romance the Iron Bull; but when we look at the way they act and think....is it really realistic to have a Qunari and Cullen for example fall in love? Or at least fall in love as easily as for example; Cullen and a human mage? Or elven rogue?
Or does anyone know if "our" qunari is supposed to have been raised under other circumstances?
What do you guys think?
I think it was confirmed sometime ago that our qunari inquisitor has been grown outside of qun. Which makes sense especially with mage qunaris, lips shewn together might limit dialogue options even further XD Since our qunari has been grown without qun I'd imagine his/her personality is closer to other races of Thedas he/she probaply has been around more.

She looks Tall and Broad, which I am happy about. I was worried it might be a slightly taller human female with horns and bigger breasts.
Yeah, i was worried that they'd look like this qunari with Isabela in this comic.

Shades of grey skin have been confirmed (though only with pics, the femQuisitor we'll see today is like an off-whitish and previous pre-alpha shots showed an Arishok grey complexion, no word on 'bronze skin', like Sten), white hair and "darker hair colours" have been confirmed (just 'darker'), horned and hornless Qunari also confirmed (though whether the horn-style is tied to the hairstyle is up in the air). Facial tattoos/face paint confirmed due to pre alpha shots and the femQuizzy.
That's all we know about PC Qunari looks I believe.
Side note: PC Qunari are 'Vashoth', or never introduced to the Qun. Surname- Adaar.

What interests me is what the NPC Qunari will look like. They all looked the same in DA2 and all the Qunari in origins looked like sten. Maybe variation in looks is rarer because of selective breeding (but it still happens) that could be a good explanation.

Hmm... not sure what I think of this pic. I had to look twice to be sure that it's actually a woman because the shoulder-parts are so broad and her features look very angular. Or maybe it's just the nose and the chin... or the eyes? Can't quite put my finger on it, but the neck and lips definitely look female.
But I guess I'll be able to make a more feminine looking Qunari in the CC if I ever want to play a female one, so that's no problem.
What I like about it are the big horns and the overall design of her armor - Looks fancy!
Yeah her shoulder look large in that pic but the lips are lovely
definitely keeping those on my femQunari.
And yeah that armor does look very nice. ![]()

Having stolen this shot from another part of the forum in a thread that had nothing to do with qunari - or even females - I was so excited to see this that I felt it deserved its own thread.
Some fun math just for the heck of it (I'm bored). In that pic Fem Qunari looks approx 2 heads taller than DHMG, lets assume DHMG is of average ''male npc height'' which is about 180cm (6''), that would make the female Qunari at least 225cm (7.3'') tall. If she is packin' a little muscle that would put her easily in the 135kg (~300 lbs) area. 225cm height and 135kg swinging a big weapon at you, sounds like a terrifying carnage machine to me.
Give her proper warhammer and watch people fly.

One thing I do have to say though, it seems Bioware has a strong fixation on character's mouths. Every character we've seen so far has absolutely luscious lips.
It's kinda distracting.
Huh?
Mouths are customizable...
can you please post the link tho the original source?
I don't know the original source, I'm sorry. I took this from the Solas thread. ![]()

The Qunari PC isn't a member of the Qun. It's possible he/she was never part of the Qun.
It's been confirmed that our Qunari is Vashoth, not Tal Vashoth, meaning they were never part of the Qun.

I think it's likely that had more to do with restrictions with the engine, since the Qunari had to use a unique model, and since PCs in neither game could be Qunari they decided just to use stock models. I mean, compare the Arishok to any of the other qunari you meet in DAII, and he's quite unique.

Uh...someone's shoulders should always be wider than their head, and definitely wider than the head of someone 2 feet shorter than they are. Even DA2 female elves had shoulders slightly wider than their head and their shoulders were freakishly narrow ![]()
Yeah, i was worried that they'd look like this qunari with Isabela in this comic.
Me too, I'm so relieved! Now if only they will allow us to headbutt...Man if we had a headbutting contest with IB he'd lose big time XD
