I think it's likely that had more to do with restrictions with the engine, since the Qunari had to use a unique model, and since PCs in neither game could be Qunari they decided just to use stock models. I mean, compare the Arishok to any of the other qunari you meet in DAII, and he's quite unique.

 

Yeah I know the reason I was just wondering if they would try to explain it or not. There is no reason why they have to because games can't always represent every part of the law exactly but if they did that could be a good excuse.

It's been confirmed that our Qunari is Vashoth, not Tal Vashoth, meaning they were never part of the Qun.

Nope. The difference between the two isn't about being part of the Qun in the past. The main difference is that the Vashoth doesn't seek to fight the Qun, while the Tal-Vashoth do. A Vashoth can be a former member of the Qun.
I don't personally think the PC was part of the Qun though.

This confusion all seems to because it says this on the Wiki

• Qunari Inquisitor is a Vashoth, a Qunari who was never introduced to the Qun.

 

I think this lead people to believe this is what Vashoth means. If you click on the Vashoth link it leads you to the page on Tal-Vasoth that explains the meaning of those terms. 

 

I am assuming the Qunari would consider you Vashoth simply because of your race, they have no name for the race but they would see you as part of their culture I guess.

Ok well, I do understand that this is not a Qunari male of course, but by human standards it's pushing it. I can think of at least 2 male friends that have similar features and with minimal work even I look more feminine than her. I'm not commenting if that's good or bad, but I was of the impression that Qunari Females would be different.

I think maybe you know rather feminine looking men if this is the case, and perhaps have a skewed perspective.

Good on Bioware for making qunari visually distinctive and not just horned waifus.

 

With that in mind, YEESH. I think I know why the qunari have to practice forced breeding. Not for me, thanks.

She looked even better than I thought she would. So huge and that combat was epic, the mage seems so much more powerful than in previous games.
