Is there a way to increase resolution?.

If you're on PC, there is either an option in the, well, "options" menu. That or in the installed folder of ME2. Search for the "Mass effect configuration utility".

Here is the tweaked Gamersettings.ini file I use to improve graphics. It can be found in \Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect 2\Biogame\Config

​***The Text in Red is specific to my system. Put the resolution at what you need. Use ALCapsViewer32 to find your Audio Device name, and the last line is Red is for AMD GPUs. Nvidia has a different line which you will have to google for.

You can use .TPF and .Mod Files with Texmod to improve Armor/Character/Weapon textures, but they increase the games bootup to 12-15+ minutes, depending on your hardware an amount of textures being modded.

Do I just have to copy paste this in my gamersettings.ini? Because I did and nothing has changed.

I also have encountered the problem that texmod is not working at all. It just doesn't import any HD textures. I've tried all the possibilities I know. Turning off my firewall, internet security, changed the coalesced, tried the rename the mass efefct exe.

texmod works fin for ME3 tho.
