I'll make a Necromancer mage and romance Duncan, Tamlen, Arl Howe, Ruck and Malcolm Hawke && Hespith, Meredith, Andraste and Elthina.

Seriously, I think having a lot of romance options makes the game more interesting for me. I like to replay games just to choose new LI, explore new love paths. The first thing I planned for my Warden / Hawke was always "Whom will I romance", further on class, specs, decisions... (I am a woman, this explains a lot about my gaming style)

I think Miranda/Jack/Thane/Jacob don't count as romances

ME2 Miranda for sure did count and so did Jacob. I would also argue Jack's and Thane's romances were actual romances so....YOU LIE!!!!

And yet I know at least one playthrough I will forgo all romances and just hit up the various brothels.
